Damn £380, weeee. I think i have no choice but to stick with the viewty, heheheh. This looks a bit nicer but i have bought so many expensive phones already, i will have to wait for a price drop. However LG phones remain expensive, i hope they keep that price a secret, hehehe. If i have to pick between the scarlet and the secret ill pick the tv :)

LG has impressed me since they announed LG KG800, i saw that one on its advertisement and it left me completely breathless. I went on ahead fearlessly to buy it, its design was one-of-a-kind but its features so crappy that i grew to hate LG. Then, came the KE970 Shine, which also left me breathless, it somewhat succeeded in seducing me again, but i didn't fall in its trap and bought the Samsung i450 when i heard that the Shine can't even sort music files according to artists, albums e.t.c. And now, here we have LG Secret, with very very unique features and an AWSOME design, I don't care how it fares, what its features are (even if you do care about them, you'll not be disappointed), or anything, i know i'm buying this one definitely. OR, I may buy the Samsung U900 Soul or the Nokia N78.

WiFi is NOT essential on a phone or even an advanced smart phone. I own an SE K800i, EEE PC and an Apple MacBook. For £15 a month I have a Vodafone 3G connect USB dongle that I can swap between the MacBook and EEE PC and know that wherever I am, I can get online at fairly decent speeds. No worrying about open or paid for WiFi connections, switching WiFi signals etc. And as my (3G) K800i syncs and connects with the MacBook perfectly over Bluetooth, it can also act as a modem and always up to date address book and calendar. The LG Secret appears to have advanced syncing abilities, high speed 3G and more - and unless the 3G iPhone is released on Vodafone UK, the Secret is going to be my next phone. It seems to blend a number of useful AND fun features into one sexy package. My only concern is that they have not done what Samsung do and put the camera lens under the slide. Again, you just don't need WiFi, it's a hassle - except at home!

Handset is very fluid and fast, having played with a beta model an LG rep bought into our store last week i can honestly say LG are getting the idea right
The Wii style games on the phone are also great fun if a bit gimicky

The wifi discussion is one of the lamest I have ever read.
Get the phone on the market and let those who want it buy it, and everyone else who dont, dont. Jeez, grow up.

To 3iK8. 1st of all, nothing is really free. You add wifi on this phone, and it will surely add to the price of the phone. I will be paying extra for a feature that I will not be using because I will be getting internet access anyway. Do you get the point? Internet use is for everyone, not just for the rich. But this phone is obviously targeted for high end users, and high end users will not settle for wifi for connectivity. Wifi is not everywhere, but full internet access is. Also, wifi is not really free. I would be embarassed to go to MC Donalds or a hotspot cafe and sit there for an hour accessing wifi and not ordering anything. Add up the money you spend on food & drinks at Mc Donalds just to access wifi and compare that to the price of internet access of $20/month through your provider and let's see which will save you more money. Sorry, but I will not exit the freeway and look for a shopping mall just so I can access google maps when I need directions NOW. Also, driving to the mall just for wifi means spending gas. Wifi is not a must, until wifi is available anytime & anywhere. Rich or poor, you deserve fair treatment and you should have the freedom to buy anything you like, but please don't buy a BMW or a Mercedes and start complaining why you have to put premium gas in it.

with all due respect, if you can afford the monthly internet bills good for you, congrats, well done etc...you can afford to buy something that is otherwise free.
Since when is having and using internet on your phone only for the rich? Where I come from there is an adundance of free wi-fi hotspots specifically for the public's use, not only in shopping malls and macdonalds but even in residential areas, and this isn't just some trend for your so-called "wannabes", wi-fi is just finally making the transition from laptops to mobile phones.
To be honest, I can't see how anyone "wannabe" a rich a**hole who thinks theyre a cut above the rest, and therefore must have they're own range of products that we "commoners"/"wannabes" etc don't deserve.

Also, I have an N95 and I also subscribed internet access. I never have to use wifi on my N95. The N95 is a high end phone, with a high price, yet I can comfortably afford it. Meaning, monthly internet fees is not an issue for me. This phone, just like the N95, is for high end users who can afford to pay internet fees instead of searching for hotspots. Wifi will not be necessary. Unless of course you're just a pretentious & cheap wannabe who likes to show off in punlic holding an expensive phone in your hands when you can't even afford to pay internet fees for $20 a month. I have nothing against wannabes, but it is kinda annoying to see their complains demanding wifi on high end phones just to accomodate their financial shortcomings. That is indeed cheapness and nothing else.
