Guys...i reli need some help here...my phone hang/stucked whenever i'm receiving call even after i upgraded my firmware..what can i do about it? this reli annoyed me badly esp when expectin sum important calls....help me plz...

Anybody knows where we can get the american version of this phone with HSDPA850/1900? All I see is the version with HSDPA2100.

Now, go to "Connectivity" to set your GPS type to "Assisted GPS" (WAP) and follow my below step by step procedure for GPS settings in secret/service menu:
Go to service menu (i.e. type 1809#*900#) > "Others" > "A-GPS Test" > "Settings":
Please follow the below settings code in my Arena:
GPS Type - SUPL A-GPS
Fix type – Tracking
Operation mode - MS Based
QoS Setting:
H-Accuracy – 50
V-Accuracy – 100
Timeout – 150
SLP Mode – Auto
SUPL Setting:
SPL Address - lge.glpals.com
SPL Port – 7275
P.S. Please follow the above setting procedures CAREFULLY in secret menu to avoid mis-tap others setting parameters, particularly the "Factory reset", it will wipe off everything in your phone without any warning or prompt when you tap on it.
Remember to use the "Back" button to exit after each individual setting and to your homescreen as well once completed.
Please try again your GPS performance functionality once completed the above settings. If problem persist, I will guide you to the next steps in other post.

I've tried all gps type setting, they locate me on different potition, but both still show wrong potition. I remember first time I got my Arena hand on. They could locate my phone accurately.
could this issue due to hardware defect?
should I visit LG customer support?

Oh yeah I forgot my third question. How can I make video calls? Anytime that I put video call with a contact it says "video call unavailable"...with all my numbers..is this normal?

I'm having trouble with the MMS retrieving. I get the text but it never gets to open, and it says "retrieving" for hours..what should I do?
THe firmware is v10D and the phone is unlocked..should I update it? Thanks for ur help!

SETTINGS > Connectivity > GPS type > "Assisted GPS".

Below is the simple trick for you to improve or ... moreThanx for your usefull explaination. I have tried that, and can increase fm signal transmision on my phone although only up to 2 meters. Its a lot beter than before. Arena seems need an extra antena for its fm transmiter. Wish I could make a fixed one.
btw, seems I have another problm, GPS. It locates my phone 2 km away from the real potition. Is there a way to fix it?

Below is the simple trick for you to improve or increase the frequency signal transmission distance from 1 foot up to 6 meters.
1. Find a small metal (i.e triangle paper clip) and bend it by hand to a straight line.
2. Gently place & paste it on the metal frame of your Arena's camera lens at the back (battery cover no need to remove). Now, you will find something amazing will happen.
NOTE: Be careful not to scratch the camera lens when you put a small metal on the frame.

2. one day it frooze, took me 3 hrs to get it back on, when it did no audio on the phone, only when making a call, so no alarms, ringtones, mp3.
they really got us in an arena.

I've already update my phone firmware to V10h from previous V10b, but sadly the fm transmitr is very very weak. I have to put my phone INSIDE fm radio box to transmit music.

Its very slow and laggy for a phone with such a quick processor and if you can type on the qwerty keyboard you have baby hands. The dictionary is frustrating to use and if they put as much effort into the default browser as they did making stupid cubes spin around then it might be an ok phone. But its not. Period. It is so unresponsive while typing an sms quickly and so prone to mistakes that I cant believe it got released. This is NOT a phone for people who text a lot. I knew I should have got an e71/e72 Nokia over LG's garbage. Its a mistake I wont make again. Screw touch screen phones, they have a long way to go.
