        Amazing phone comes with so low price.
        I am a technical guy working as a core software developer with indepth knowledge on technicality aspects of a cellphone.
        Best phone till date for me. had N95 and always used to think what a magix box it was. It finally started giving me sliding strip problem ,which is quite expensive and annoying to go to service shop again and again. So decided to check other phones than Nokia..Arena is brilliantly engineered to compete with Iphone and I say it has done the Job. It has more features and more efficient than Iphone in terms of GUI and Applications which comes inbuilt.Sadly it hasnt got major fan following which is resulting in low App base compared to Iphone. Iphone beats this phone only in that matter and nothing else.Just that it require few days to start using features fluently.
        I would strongly suggest this phone for those who has less budget,need top class features and doesnt need flamboyant expensive brand like IPhone.

              Warning. Do not buy this phone. I had one returned it. I updated to latest firmware yet still this phone after a year on the market has software problems. With latest firmware it still turns off whilst texting phone freezes whilst taking photo having to remove battery. Also screen flickers alot and suffers screen burn whereby parts of the previous menu is still burnt into the screen. Battery life is terrible i have to charge it twice a day even with minimal use and 3G off. All LG phones suffer still with poor reliablity. Will never buy their phones again. Though they make great tv sets

                  danny g, 26 Jan 2010hey all, i have just bought this phone and i cant f... moreUtilities > Tools > FM Transmitter > Tuning to a free frequency in your phone which is NOT used by any radio station > tap "Transmit" > Go to your phone's music player to play some music > Simply tuning into the SAME frequency in your car radio receiver > Now, your Arena will act like a radio tower, it will transmit your music played in you Arena into your car radio receiver.

                  Note: FM transmitter in some firmwares does not work properly, e.g. no base or poor sound quality... try it out yourself.

                    woody, 25 Jan 2010can we backup applications to the extrnal memory on LG Aren... moreThere is no way to backup applications and restore them back after the hard reset via secret menu (i.e. 1809#*900#). It means that you need to re-download again the applications after the hard reset.

                    Factory Reset:
                    The factory reset that's in the regular phone settings menu, from my experience, it resets all the basic settings of the phone, such as homescreens and profiles. It does not erase phone memory, contacts, multimedia files and so on.

                    The factory reset located in the secret menu (i.e. 1809#*900#) will completely reset the phone to its original state, erasing everything without any exceptions. DO IT ONLY IF YOU HAVE EVERYTHING BACKUP beforehand.
