LG KU990 Viewty - User opinions and reviews

I got a Viewty just recently and I was so excited because of its features. However, I noticed that it takes about 3 hrs to charge and the unit itself is slightly hot to the touch. It drains after about 2 hours. I don't know if it's a defective battery or there's something wrong with the unit. Could somebody help me with this? Thanks.

can anyone pl help me. In messaging if I have to edit some word how do I take the cursor back step by step. Pl because it takes me atleast 7 -8 attempts if I have to delete one single letter which is in the middle of the word. Rest everything is fantastic about this fone. Being using it for almost a month now and enjoying every bit of it.

Can anyone pl help me. I am getting letter " E " constantly even after I close my GPRS surfing. How to stop the "E" which may remains connected to edge service even after I disconnect the service. Pl I need Help.

Does anyone have battery problems with KU990? My KU990 drains its battery fast and im not even using it heavily. Any advice how to solve this problem?

the setting for T-Mobile US for internet is as follows

go to Phone Settings
then Connectivity
then Access Points

after that Add a new connection and name it T Zones
Make sure the bearer is set at GPRS
Authentication is set to No Auth
leave the Username and Password blank
and make sure the APN is set to wap.voicestream.com

dan call up tmobile tech support and ask them to send u an over the air update to set up ur phones web browser

Hi Guys

I have just got my LG Viewty and for some reason it is not sending/receiving picture messages. The network I am with has confirmed that all setting are done properly. Does anyone know if there is certain setting that I need to adjust on the phone?

Any advise would be appreciated.

hey greeneyes, let me tell you, this phone has AMAZING sound quality. the best i have ever heard on a phone. truly. has decent bass too, and the headphones are pretty good, just cant fit in your ears properly, else have super sound quality and decent bass if you got them in right. As for the whole phone, its the best i've ever had.. and i think the best i've ever seen! LG viewty, LEGENDARY

I listen to alot of music, can anyone please tell me sound quality of the music player and how good the bass is? ive heard that u can´t make your own equlizer settings or choose any equilzer pre settings like rock, techno, jazz and so on, it it true? And do you have to buy seperate earphones to get get good sound or does the the LG headphones in the box provide enough sound and quality?
