this phone has really exceeded my expectations, its easily one of the best currently available, interface is great, and all the feature work well, it dosnt hav nav. but i belive one should stick to a gps unit if this feature is needed, my only complaint is that i have not been able to get any additional themes for it, can anyone tell me about a site where i can hook up sum?

this phone is stylish but the features are pretty poor... the cam makes noisy pictures and if you found good cam-settings the phone will discard them as soon as you exit the cam. Plus: the mp3 player is just crap.
the best thig about the viewty is the video cam. sharp movies and in DivX! I solf mine after 1 month in use and went back to sonyericsson...

if any of you can actually test both video camera capabilities, prove me wrong. Is it the same when viewed on a PC? When i have had BOTH handsets in my hand AT THE SAME TIME,the N95's video capture is leagues above the Viewty. Just because it has touch screen, doesn't make it better, kids.

Thanx Lukka, I was hoping to hear that I can install Windows Mobile 6. I do have Google though. I dont know how all you other Viewty owners feel, but I am happy with mine. Touch screen most def takes a bit of gettin used to, but otherwise its a great phone for my needs. We always see people on these pages comparing phones on there specs and capabilities, sure, the Viewty is not the best there is, but one has to choose the phone that suits your needs the best. The only thing that I am not happy with is the manual that came with the phone...it does not offer anything except basic phone operations.The rest, one has got to figure out yourself.

it is one of the most sophisticated piece of beauty i purchased it 2 months ago even though there is no agent for lg mobiles in lebanon ineed an arabic software in order toread local messages and eliminate the o2 logo from the screen who can assist pls

i have been usin this fone since november and it was my first touchscreen fone. i have found it one of the easiest fones to use that i have ever had the tochscreen takes a few weeks to get used to but after that few weeks it so easy txting is great with the qwerty and the keypad although handwriting recognition is not that easy and quite anoying sometimes.
the browser works like a dream. it is very fast and the scrolling up and down is easy (after about a weeks practice)
the media player is fantastic it has very good sound quality and videos play great although not tried a divx video yet. the 3g capabilitys are good as i watch sky sports streamed live.
great camera, macro shots (close ups) are best on any fone i have ever seen and even if u are just apoint and shoot kind of person u will be happy.
i dont know about memory capacity some say just 2gig some say 4,6 or 8 but im just using a 2gig for now

Hi,i got the phone and it's great. I want to ask if there is a document viewer upgrade or another program/application to use so that i can also SEARCH the documents/excel files.I dont want to edit them. with LG shine you can do that with the viewer. Not change the documents just ...search.

I dont think the resolution of the mobile screen has anything to do with video capturing abilities, instead it depends on the zoran processor inside the viewty. So displayed on a pc screen side by side the two videos will show which is the best. If you NEED GPS and Wifi and cant do otherwise then go with N95 but you can use external gps with viewty and work ok and even better. As about the memory, viewty can "use",edit and "see" memory up to 8GB as well!

so to stop u babies from bickering -the N95's video capture is leagues above the viewty.The viewty only has 252k colours, as oppose to the N95's 16million.....no compare. The N95 has wifi, viewty doesnt. both have HSDPA. N95 has GPS, viewty has google maps...ur choice which is better....viewty only holds up to 2gb...N95 is up to 8 i think??? its more than 2gb anyway....
all in all, i think the N95 is better but thats my opinion based on what kind of user i am...
now put your dummies back in and get back in your prams.

Yes you can install third hands software. example you can download and installed E-buddy, so you can have ICQ, MSN and many more program in one. You LG KU990 can have all Java software, so as long it's java programs, it will works on KU990 :)

Hey lucy. I will personnel chose Ku990 because it have 3G, and so much more then Armani, so LG Ku990 will be my favourite :)

does this cell phone has security like nokia , e.g messages and on galarry ther have to be security so no one wls can go through the private stuff
