i love this phone but i got one problem i am probably being stupid but when i load my pics on the pc i need to uninstall the program then reinstall. if i dont do that a msg box pops up saying invalid access to memory location. plz help.

Just bought the Viewty, and can I say, it's a beauty!
The size and overall form factor is great, it fits nicely in the hand and pocket. The screen is crisp and large, and the vibration feedback (when hitting a key on the screen) is an excellent idea.
The overall build quality is great, its strong and sturdy, with no 'Flimsy bits'.
Now, to the camera. WOW.
I didnt even expect it to be as good as it is. Photos in low light are just as good as in day light, and snaps are taken quickly and effortlessly. No blurring here, I'm not sure what others are talking about.
I'm a loyal Sony Ericsson fan, but i made an exception for this phone. I'm glad i did.

hi gelobee, try checking e-phone over 4th F SM Megamall. last i checked their selling the unit for Php24800 each. goodluck...kindly post your experience with the unit once you lay your hands on it...

To ash- at lg pc suite select contents and use d new window option that pops up to select how many photos or vids u want and rigtt click and select copy and paste it to d handset. Always use the pc suite to copy and paste. Or switch d connection type to mass storage: in settings- much easier.

I am thinking of getting this phone - but the review here says it can only hold 100 calendar entries... is that right?! Seems v and way too small to me... thanks!

Try use this format Mpeg4 it work best on this phone than Divx format. If you want the best software and crack go to this website while it still on special offer...http://www.slysoft.com Clonemobile and Anydvd is all you need to do and conversion from any dvd movie.

i tried xvid and it didnt work.
as follow up, i returned my U990 because the autofocus was so crap. The anti shake control did not help at all.
now i have a SE K850i. It has a much better autofocus and flash and I am much happier. I miss the fun touch screen of the U990, but prefer to have a good quality camera (still far from a stand alone digital 5MP camera by the way...but a lot better than the U990).
