well thts the drawback of the viewty. abt the memory card if its more than 512mb it starts to give problems . it detects it sometimes and sometimes it dsnt . i am still using the phone for apprx 2 yrs now bu with the internal memory . the memory card slot was a default prob. and LG did not do nething abt it since it did not do tht well in the market .Hence they did not have any upgrades for this model as well . Most of the LG phones tht came out after this had a lot of upgrades even the better versions of viewty had but bad luck for us they did not remove nething

I Am really Facing... moreWell it has the problem to lock a particular simcard sometimes when it does all u have to do is call up ur ISP and tell them the sims lockd n give them your PIN or PUK code wadeva they ask and in sometime it will unlock the simcard and automatically it will make sure it dsnt unlock it again

i hav that problem too.. and the touch screen doesnt work. it only says USIM locked.. how could i get solution to that problem?.

The LG Viewty is almost good, but it just isn't. It's too complicated, the touchscreen isn't really very accurate or responsive, it's moody! Mine restarts because of low battery with out warning when there are 2 bars on the battery showing. File transfer is a bitch, bluetooth sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't. I even bought a cable for it but I still can't seem to transfer photos to my laptop, just sync contacs and calendar! And I can't send emails with it because I use gmail. What's the point of having a 5 megapixel camera if you can't get to the photos? And the photos are crappy too! My old iphone took way better photos with its wonky 1 megapixel camera.
I'm very pissed at it at the moment!

owner for 1.5 years and counting (dunno how much longer i'll manage without wifi and gps but anyway... back to the Lg.
in all commercials it's presented as a Camera-phone, everything is focused on the camera
although it has some of the features, it does not excel at internet, music, games/software...
if you look at it as just a phone with a pretty fly camera... it's THE phone to have :)
the 120fps feature is dreadful indoors but great for filming a pool dive, casting a fishing rod etc.
just a phone wiv a camera
the only true annoying "feature" is the incapability of managing my sd card 24/7 every third time i wanted to access the card memory, had to restart the phone... so i abandoned the idea of havin 2gb and sticked wiv the internal memory
faulty but still good

I am facing this problem too. Whenever I play video clips in landscape and select next for 4-5 times then it stop playing and show no videos. Then I have to restart the mobile.

in fact am using viewty for a good while,its design is perfect,its camera is the best,yet its touchscreen is the only negative point,if you don't use the 'stilet' and you use your fingers after some time the screan will not work correctly,which made me crazy

Hi this is Hitesh. I have been using Lg KU990 for 2 years. The phone has good camera. If it had wifi and acclerometer, it would have been outstanding.i am using a 2gb memory card and sometimes i dont get access to memory card. can anyone tell me something about this problem. the problem occurs especially when i open videos.

i'm using LG ku990 since 1 year. i bought it in AUS, i came to India in frb then i unlocked, after that it worked for some time then it stoped working, i can acess it properly touch screen is not accepting my command and when ever i switch of it it is asking touch pad celebration after touching the touch pointa it is giving an caution like invalid celebration try it again ....even if i try it for 100 time it is giving the same caution... i can't understand the prob plzz do help me... i like that mobile very munch.. but i can't use it now....

the touch on my phone is only working on one side.(left side not working).is there and parts available for my ku990?
