Now I am Getting a Optimus 3D for Rs. 25000 in Noida...Should I go for this Phone , Or Galaxy R or Meizu Mx(A Chinese Phone which is launching on 1'st Jan) ?????......Which One Should I go for ???? hi, This mobile is Great!
-new update 2.3.5 gingerbread
-1080p 2D full hd 30fps(not 24fps)like before
-720p 3D
-HDMI PORT(The cable is included when bought)
-DLNA
-3g/4g (21 Mbps)---->after the update
-DOLBY SOUND (with in ears-speakers included)
-bluetooth,dts 2.0 channel,divx HD,1,3mp camera front
-2d and 3d editor(view 3d in 3d or 3d in 2d in a press of a button
Before the update,video quality wasnt good,and some other 3d stuff (you have to update it)
to update:
first update phone go to settings,about phone,program update,scan for update(about 5 mb update)
then download from lg support (LG PC SUITE IV) and update it to 2.3.5( its a 400mb file)follow steps, charge the phone first.(you also have the lg pc suite iv in the internal memory, just connect the phone to pc,choose mass storage,then in file named LGE
Notes:when trying to update, u press scan for update if u get the message didnt find any updates, keep trying till it works, disconnect phone close program totally, start again till it works(it will work)

Thanks for your help guys.. the tutorial you posted helped me to upgrade my phone from stock rom 2.2 to 2.3.5...
my phone is SU-760
my location of upgrade is in the Philippines.

OMG all of you still havent updated in the UK or europe?
I did post instructions here last month on how to update to 2.3.5 (to the OFFICIAL version). I have no idea about rooting or anything, i moved from an iphone and i did it using these instructions. Here they are:

Download the software updater there ^^ then install the drivers from there
Then try updating. If it doesnt work for any reason, follow the next steps.
Go here: http://www.lg-phones.org/lg-optimus-3d-android-2-3-5-gingerbread-v21a-download.html
and download the europe open v21a file .
Next go here: http://www.filesonic.com/file/2255759914/KDZ_FW_UPD_EN.zip
and download that file, and unzip it. You dont need any other files apart from the 2 i gave above.
Then go here: http://www.lg-phones.org/how-to-flash-kdz-on-lg-optimus-3d.html
And follow the instructions there. Follow the pictures... they might make more sense (they're in order).
Its simple :P
