the phone is fine and updates decreasing preformance is not true.
games do lag and its up to the devs to fix this and this is NOT limited to the 4x hd.
some games just are bad games just like you have them on pc and consoles.
and lg makes fine roms people just are easy to complain if they dont like something.
but not liking something isnt a design flaw or bug/error its a difference of opinion.
personaly i have never seen a rom as stable as on the 4x hd period.
and the amount of cores working on a game depends on the game not anything else the cores are there if the arent use its the game devs fault.
some will use 1 core some will use 2 and some will load all 4.
its not relevant as long as the game works correctly.
theres a lot of people posting utter rubbish on the web out of slite that they payed to much for there phones or just because they feel like bashing LG.
sure there are some things i would have done differently but they are not bugs they are design choices.
the fact is this pone is bug free and as long as you manage the rom correctly and use good apps this phone is the best bang for the bucks on the market and that will stay like that will we get mid range phones with quad core chips which wont happen for atleast another year.
anyone that has problems with this phone either did it themselves or that are a exception to the rule.
its a great phone either accept it and enjoy it or move on and spend more money on the ''competittion'' that hogs ram with heavy roms.
you either feel right about something or you dont if you dont have a real brand preverence go to a store reboot the phone and try them out.
they are on 24/7 for god knows how long so a reboot is needed for a proper experience.
@erras some game cant even be played on the L9 as it had a older soc with older gpu its also not a tegra so its graphicly worse.
so for gamers this shouldnt be a option to consider.
and JB also had nothing important to offer so its not something to consider when buying this phone.

pino, 23 Mar 2013i dont think the 1gb extra ram of the nexus 4 is worth 90 e... morePls could u explain to me how ur 4x works afta installing quadgear and disabling 2cores? I really want to know.
Does it stutter during gaming? Do u think a dualcore krait is still capable of running games smoothly?

Guys, I wish you are all fine and full health.. I got some info from Pino.. But I am still confused a little bit.. I am planning to buy this phone or Galaxy S3 "Used with almost the same price of the new 4X HD" maximum the next week.. I read some reviews after few updates on the 4X HD which affected on the performance badly specially for gamers in order to improve battery life which is of course a very bad thing and I found that a lot of people are saying the same thing.. I am sure that LG's developers are not experts enough like Samsung's developers so I don't trust them on the next update for the Jelly Bean however I read that LG will unlock the boatloader in the Jelly Bean update "Which is GREAT".. Any gamers here faced any problem or lags while playing any games and if yes, Which games are laggy with you!? and if you can check guys if it is a single core is working or more while playing I will very much appreciate it as I heard that after the latest update "Before the Jelly Bean" some guys faced this problem "Only 1 core is processing or 2 cores maximum".. I am sorry for this long post but I don't want to take a bad decision as I will stuck with the mobile for like 2 years.

AnonD-106365, 24 Mar 2013nt only the ram ,nexus has good cam,3d panaroma that was so... morethe nexus has the same 8 MP camera jut stock software.
you can always downlod other camera apps.
as for photosphere you can also downloads apps for that.
and official instant updates as not always a goog thing as they are barely tested and proved to have quite a few flaws.

disadvantage: no radia,no external card port

dnt forget the nexus does not have a removable battery nore a SD slot so you have to cope with the memory thats onboard.
if it was the same price id start considering it but even for 20 euros more i wouldnt it has more disadvantages then advantages.

google some one x /4x hd vs S3 benchmarks and you will see in antutu the S2 will get 1900 to 2200 and the 4x hd or one x will get 2200 to 2500.
in every benchmark its ass fast or faster.

Does the game have to be tegra3 supported to play it or playing like armv7 games with no lag also .. not taking about gameloft
