hi friends ... this is Shunny ... last 20 days back i purchase this phone ... its very cool ... good phone ...
i have one dought about phone autorotation : i am trying to rotate my phone ... unfortunatelly my home screen was not rotate automatically ... and also apps menu ...
how can i get auto rotation for home screen and apps menu ...
auto rotation is only working in gallery and video play back ...
sooo plzzzzz help some one els any body know the option for auto rotation of home screen and application menus ... ... tanqq

I own this phone but to b... morethen sell it and buy the s3.
the phone is good but it has some flaws just like the HTC one x and the samsung S3.
and ytou say it has a issue but if you would actualy say what the issueis people may be ableto helo you solve it.
and according to many sources 4.1 is coming from verry soon to soonish (before the end fo january to before march).
and if you hate 4.03 then why you you buy a phone with that on it?
and i hate to break it to you but JB is just a minir tweak to 4.03 so not much changes wont you hate tat also?
the only thing i can give you is that LG needs to communicate with its userbase but i guess they are not doing that because they just reorginized and simplt dont want to give out dates as they may not be able to keep it which is worse then giving out no dates.
if you give a date people pin you to it:).
the facts of the LG 4x is that at the release it had 1 software issue that was fixable (the camera).
this has since bin fixed in every region so thats no longer a issue.
the other thing that is flawed in the software is androids fault and thats it giving you 1 gb for apps then see the rest as a sd card.
which is just bad but EVERY 4.0 phone has this.
some say its bin fixed in 4.1 but i have yet to see evidence.
in my idead world you would get 1 13gb partition for apps and data and just use the sd card as sd card.
other then that there are no software issues that lg can fix.
aps that dont work is because of the devs that make the apps are lazy and dont want to work for there money.
things like no notification led is a lg oversight and im sure they wont do it again.

I own this phone but to be honest i wish that i bought s3 instead of it ..
No update until now and i hate ICS version 4.0.3 , it has issue and at least LG should give us update to 4.0.4 or jelly bean as gift for new year but sadly LG doesn't even care ..

Optimus-2x is the best phone for whatever money we pay for ..

you can download wifi cast gtom the lg store but other then tht theres barely anything that supports it.
its a bit like the tag reader thats build in its nice its there but its not really usefull for now.
as for quicknote i think you need to hold both up and down vollume together for a few seconds.

It hasn't got a micro-sim ... morehop by the local phone store im sure they have a adapter availeble or even a cutoff from another sim.
as phone shops often cut normal sims to micro sim so you could just pop a microsim in that and it should work.
