Took me months to fix it, paid $150 to fix it. Now, 2 months later, and I can't get to the OS.
I can get to download mode, or factory reset. Neither help me.

it seems the "crack issue" only happens on areas where a big difference between the phone temperature and outside temperature can happen..i hope this does not happen to mine..

My Optimus G screen cracked on falling from my pocket...such is the built quality..beware of buying this phone...better go for HTC, i phone, Samsung those who make quality products

Dear friends ..I have a problem and I hope that I find resolved by one of you
When the mobile is off then I turn it on The screen does not light up and hear only the startup tone and wait for seconds and then press the power button Until the screen lights up. I know it's a small problem but it is causing me distress And almost did not show this problem until after the update to version 10i
The other problem is that NFC.. When press the button to turn this feature on does not respond
Please, I hope that does any of you tell me about the solution, knowing that I've factory settings several times and I've also UPGRADE RECOVERY Without any result

LG dont uptades his phones... that´s the only why I dont want to get the G2 and the only LG for me its his Nexus.

S3: screen ratio=16:9, Diagonal(Ds3)=4.8"
G: screen ratio=16:10, Diagonal(Dg)=4.7"
Now let's find the screen area of each one using the formula for an are of a rectangle.
Area= Length*Width= L*W
S3, AreaS3=L*W, L=16W/9
Given Ds3=4.8" and using Pythagorean Theorem to find the L & W.
Ds3^2=L^2+W^2=(16W/9)^2+W^2, W=9Ds3/337^0.5, L=16(9Ds3/337^0.5)/9=16Ds3/337^0.5
AreaS3=16Ds3/337^0.5*9Ds3/337^0.5=144Ds3^2/337
AreaS3=144(4.8^2)/337= 9.845 in^2
G: L=16W/10
Dg^2=L^2+W^2=(16W/10)^2+W^2
W=10Dg/356^0.5, L=16W/10=16(10Dg/356^0.5)/10=16Dg/356^0.5
AreaG=16Dg/356^0.5*10Dg/356^0.5=160Dg^2/356
AreaG=160(4.7)^2/356=9.928 in^2
So G is larger by 9.928-9.845=0.083 in^2
If the G has diagonal of 4.75", with the same screen ratio, then it will have the same area as the S4 which has 5" screen diagonal.
