I see on some online shops that they sell e975 but indicate that it comes with android 4.04 Icecream Sandiwch. But here it says that it comes with Jelly bean. So what's up with those devices. Does E975 come with ICS in some countries?

Please check on background or running apps. Do some customization eg wife, screen bright etc etc. The battery last longer in gsm mode too.

This is way better than the GS3 and the ip5 and much cheaper. Currently, GS3 is 768SGD whil G is 598SGD. But it didn't match the sales figure of the GS3 because of LG's POOR marketing, announce today release half a year later. Just like the F7, I was waiting for its release since it was announced last January. G is superior to GS3 and ip5 in almost all aspects, this is even a better option than the GS4 in terms of value for the money.

I compared the screen quality between the Optimus G, HTC One and SGS4. I loaded up the same website on all three, used max brightness and used auto brightness for display for all three phones.
Surprisingly the Optimus G had the most detail with the stubble on a man in a photo on the website being revealed on the optimus G. The other two were blurred with less detail displayed. The SGS4 had abnormal whites.
Interestingly, higher ppi does not necessarily mean more detail. Also, the webpage seemed squashed(horizontally compressed) on both the SGS4 and HTC One whilst on Optimus G it looked normal like on desktop computer.
