the only minus point in this phone is that the camera sensor is not a BSI one. So, low light photography will not be at par with the great camera phones out there. However, for the price this one comes with, the camera is pretty good!

Anyway, why many people saying the price is expensive? I bought this one around 570 usd. Its cheaper than htc one x+ and galaxy s3, but with better fitures

Just bought this one, but e975 version. So far so good. But i have 2 things bother me.
1st, i didnt install anything yet, nor activating google account but my ram showed 800mhz used and only left 1.2ghz, waw, how if i install many game and application?? This is weird..
2nd. Speaker sound is loud, but too many treble imo. My atrix 3g sound is more bass than this.
But overall im very satisfied with this optimus. Very clear screen and bright, clear camera and video player. Still exploring...

Thiru, 25 Feb 2013I like to know how is the internet browsing speed?Browsing speed it very fast using any browser, chrome, dolphin, or stock browser.
I use dolphin and am on 4.1.2 which I custom loaded onto this handset after root and freegee.
Internet is the best on any phone I have used and is very responsive on lte and wifi.

ok so iv heard abt sound quality not being upto par for the nexus4 can any1 give hands on advice abt the optimus g im so freakin confused wat abt jb 4.2 will LG release an update soon??? Wat are the other probs faced by users

I had been waiting for the launch of this phone since I read about it. Frankly there are those who think that LG's phones suck, but I prefer them to many other brands. So the day it was officially launched in India I picked it up from this awesome site that I usually rely on to pick up my mobile phones mnvcollections.com
I got this phone in my hands a few days ago and I think it's damn neat. I only wish that LG had not priced it at such a premium. Still if iPhone can command high prices, then I think LG has a right to do so too.

Very Important: the Optimus G E973 LTE: Bell/Telus/Sasktel - 1700mhz/700mhz ONLY.
Rogers (LG E971) LTE: 2600/700mhz
if you put a telus sim card in the Rogers E971, you will have no LTE in Canada until 700mhz is launched
Also Optimus G has Corning Glass 2
