Just pre-ordered this beast. Surprisingly, It came with Jelly Beans 4.1.2 out of the box here in Indonesia. Nice!

Regarding the below poster asking about root, you need to make sure you're running the original stock rom in order to flash. if you've already updated the phone with the OTA then you may be unable to root.

The LG E971/E973 is definately not a low end phone. I sold my galaxy S3 for this phone, This is one of the fastest phones I ever experienced yet. this phone is same specs as the Note2. Good job LG !!! Life is good !!

For sure lg optimus G spec CPU 1.5 quad core krait s4 pro and 2 GB ram are much better then s3 1.4 quad exynoss with 1GB ram also and andreno 320 way more faster then s3 mali-400 GPU...lg optimus G screen are IPS+LCD 318ppi but s3 only Amoled 303ppi..trololo

Yep, definitely lower end.. its not even LG's flagship device!....
