connect the phone via USB->open PC suite->click on the photo/music/video icon at the top of the PC suite->a pop up menu will appear notifying you that the phone is going to mass storage mode->click ok->open my computer->removable disk(memory card)->drag and drop the items you want to transfer.

First of all go to settings->SD card and phone storage->uncheck 'Mass storage only' option. Now connect the phone to the PC via USB. A green android bot will appear which will notify you that the USB is connected. Now you have 2 options:
1)Select 'Turn on USB storage' on the phone. The green bot will now turn orange.(Alternatively, you can open the notification bar and press upon 'Select to copy files to/from your computer') Now you can access your memory card through your computer. To disconnect press 'Turn off USB storage' on the phone
2)To connect via PC suite: When the green bot appears, don't select 'turn on usb storage'. Just open PCsuite and select 'connect phone'. Now you will be able to sunchronize your phone with the PC and also be able to update your phone.

Open the 'contacts' application->press the hard menu button on phone->new contact.
Note:the menu button on phone is very useful,every application has some functions which can be displayed by pressing the menu button.

Hello all, I bought this phone for 12000 in delhi after going through many opinions and reviews about all the android fones in this price range. I knew optimus 1 is gud but the LG brand name was worrying me. I must say its a great fone..
*touch is awsome.
*supports live wall papers
*resolution is clear
* video and camera well above average but not superb
*music quality cool.
* as far as battery is concerned turn off the GPS and GPRS when not required and use them only when surfing net and applications. with normal talk time,the cell gives a back up 1 day. I feel battery could have been better.

Hi dude iam using LG optimus one is superb phone i never seen like this handset . its value for money . Disply clarity video clarity every thing its superb dude.
