Guyz, Seeing the hardware 512mb ram and 600hz processor ,i dont think this phone will get the ginderbread android 3.0 version update as that version requires much more high configuration.There are many phone out there such as galaxy S,xperia X10 which are only expected to get gingerbread,i think Samsung Galaxy will be better than this phone also less priced than abt Rs1500.And same features.Just because it has froyo doesnt mean it very good even galaxy 3 is expected to get froyo so dont be in hurry

I actually can't believe the only froyo-running phone in this price-range hasn't been reviewed yet despite being available for over a month. Instead GSM have wasted their time reviewing WP7 handsets (which nobody has any intention of buying) which inevitably end in the conclusion that all WP7 phones are the same and that the platform is too restricted.
Seriously, review this phone already.

guys i am from India.. I would like to buy this phone.. Does this phone support flash 10.1??I've read many reviews about it.All pointing that it doesn't have flash support..but when i checked the LG's official site they are quoting that it has flash 10.1 support and also its written on its package.. I am confused.. so anybody could confirm this??

Univercell's site lists the LG P500 as "Thunder" instead of "Optimus One". Is LG selling this in India with this name?

p500 very good but there is no inbluid games , why ?
sms very confusing to use? contract aslo not easily copy from sim card ?
i suggest to lg engg.er that they must use software that comman man also use easily

[deleted post]Only difference between android and symbian is USER INTERFACE and app availability.. Symbian is a Hardcore smartphone OS. It has few limitations but i think finn's will lift them in near future... Btw am also u using android,
