Got an update of 780mb (on 29/3/19), that said march security patch & usage improvements. After update I did find few changes which are:
1) More free Internal storage
2) Better performance (fluid than before)
3) Not heating much like it use to.
4) And obviously security patch March 2019
It's been nearly 2years since I'm using Q6. Did use Optimus Sol, may be 6 years back & LG Optimus Swift 8 years back.
After using few other brands I did came back to LG unexpectedly & I'm happy I did this.
I don't find any other phone as compact & reliable as this. I'm not a heavy gamer (can't spend time on playing), so I do get fair usage experience out of it.
LG did surprise me with updates & please do post if you find any other changes post update.

speed is awesome, but heating more..
the graphics processor is annoying and bad performance in games.
display is great but bleeding issue appears.
built in earphone is bad, so I'm using another one.
in the new update dts x sound is pritty good.
front camera good, but pictures stretching in wide angle mode.
primary camera average.
im having low sound microphone issue after 5 months.
battery is just below average.

I honestly didn't expect this phone to get any further updates but i was surprised when i checked manually for updates and got notified about 130mb update which was March security patch. Nice work, LG! There was a time when i thought LG couldn't care less about software support but since then it looks like they have really improved on that :)

Does anyone else have BLACK light bleeding? Not the common white light, but slightly darker areas at the very bottom of the screen. It's not visible on black or dark background, only on white, yellow or any other bright background. Anyone?

Just got the January security and another 'improvements' update. Performance seems a little improved actually, got the device secondhand a week ago and seems far better than Huawei p smart which I had before

LG Q6 User, 21 Jan 20198.1 update came. And this would be the last update for this... moreImagine bashing lg. Couldn't be me. I got a 2019 patch on android Oreo and who knows maybe it will get android pie. There hasn't been talk about the android pie update on lg g6, v30, v40, etc except the lg q6. You complaining isn't helping no one
