LG just said that LG V10 will receive the Nougat update in the second half of the year!!

Best phone ever! Not the fastest, not the most battery durable, and not the high end today...but the most beautiful and most feaure phone you can have!
Audio DAC, Second Screen, Gorgerous Camera with Manual Mode for Camera and Video, Staines Steel rails on sides, Removable battery and microSD slot!
And the good is we will get Nougat soon, this phone with new UI will get new life and be the most perfect phone even if he get almost 2 years.
Trust me, when you get one you forget all about sammy or aiple, this is best than those two brands.

MHL is more common. You can get the cable pretty much anywhere. It will only connect to HDMI.
SlimPort is supported by LG and Google Nexus. It will connect to HDMI or even (with the right cable) old VGA monitors, DVI or DisplayPort. You will likely have to acquire the cable from a well stocked Internet retailer. The cable doesn't require a power source, but if you have one handy, it can supply power to your phone. But it won't quickcharge, so this only slows down how fast your battery drains.

Question that might be idiotic.
When it says memory up to 256 gb microsd, what does that mean exactly?
I've looked up microsd cards on amazon and 128gb ones range from $50-150 and I'm not sure the difference between them. They all are microsd xc. Can I put any of them in the phone to expand the storage or does it need to be a specific type that i'm not seeing?

because i have now a galaxy note 3 and works good but I need a better phone with more storage and RAM like this one but slimport then works good right?

I used it to Skype with my oldest kid while he was abroad. I used a size 64 rubber band to hold my phone onto a tripod, and ran the slimport cable into my big screen TV. Worked great.
