You likely have a defective or fake battery. There are lots of fake V20 batteries around that look like the real OEM/original LG V20 battery but last less than half as long as the GENUINE OEM LG V20 battery.

Also check for your battery usage stats. You may have rogue apps or haywire apps draining up a huge percentage of your battery capacity. These need to be unistalled. If you did both above yet none of those work, factory reset your phone. If still the same, you may have a defective unit. Return it or have it replaced.

With the physiological hear sense in good condition, someone knows if is possible appreciate difference between the V20 >MP3 >bluetooth >a decent loudspeaker and V20's hi-fi quad dac >FLAC >wired loudspeaker. In the good understood that I don't wait a japanese LP on a top class stereophonic system.

I like everything about this phone. Really fast and the fingerprint unlock. However even though the battery is removable, it's terrible. It drains in about 2 hours to 50% and then shuts down and won't turn on unless connected to power.

Lg cares ONLY for korean consumers, the rest doesn't account. At least provide us with security updates.

And yes, this is my last LG phone.
And yes,I used it for almost 3 years now,and plan to use it for at least a few more (or untill it dies on me).
It's a perfect device, but their software updates really triggered my OCD.
At least they are sending security updates (more or less).Am currently on may 2019...

We just purchased the V20- after reading so many reviews and peeping the specs the V20 seems like the best deal moving forward out from under Nokia Lumia Icon 929 (which I have had for 5 years and still works thank you Nokia/Windows[you were a beautiful match] even though there were a lot of frustrations with industry killing support for such a awesome phone) i am looking forward to the impressive camera, sound, larger display screen, bigger RAM and tons more ROM that the V20 boasts about. The captured image quality I have seen online is pretty stunning. we are not a gamer but we use our phone in a photojournalist capacity it looks like the LG V20 will serve that purpose very well. We hope to get 4 years out of the V20(we hate the redundancy of a 'throwaway society' especially when it comes to hi-tech precious metal material resources, the tech has a high price/toll on planet earth resources) like we have had out of the Nokia we had a low end LG before the Nokia and i got several years usage out of that phone as well even with abysmal camera and apps the phone was still rugged and worked well before there was much need for social media interface.
we will post up a review after we are up and running.

As it is now, in the places (quite a few) where there is some 5G capable infrastructure it can give you 10-20% boost in data transmission. The real 5G with all its advantages and features is years away and in the meantime we will rely on LTE.

Android 9 Pie comes soon for the V20, now available in Korea the rest will follow.

Lately some friends of mine tell me : you stay backwards with your 4G, but I tell them that my V20's still retain more capabilities than their shining phones, despite haven't the speedy 5G.

Never mind, the phone upgraded itself after I switched it on again. Now ist Android 8.0.

I bricked my T-Mobile LG V20 when upgrading from android 7 to android 8 using Mint Mobile sim. Is there an easy way to revive?

wsonique, 26 Oct 2019Hey guys, I'm considering buying a cheap LG v20 as I can't... moreThere is a protective cover in the camera lens of the LG V20 if you buy brand new device. As much as possible, don't ever remove it. But, If you are deeply concern about the lens shattering, then buy a back cover that will level the phone horizontally to the ground. (Note that the phone is slightly elevated in the upper part of the phone when placed down in its back due to the protruding camera lens design of the phone)

If you want to be on the safe side, buy a back cover to even the back of the phone (camera protrudes slightly) and to be sure that if it drops on the back, the camera glas will not be directly hit.

It's has writes about L... moreAll smartphones from top reputable brands generally provide acceptable SAR values. If you are at all concerned about phone radiation, you really shouldn't be buying any 3G, 4G or 5G dual SIM smartphones. The faster the internet connectivity and the more the networks (dual sim), the more LTE bands supported (most flagship smartphones) and the lesser the wired options (no headphone jack), the greater your exposure to phone radiation. I would recommend the old 2G only SINGLE BAND, Nokia feature phones for you for the least phone radiation. Technology moves forward so from single band GSM phones, dual band and triband phones came next, then 3G and 4G LTE multiband handsets, and now, we're entering 5G era where we are literally surrounded by more and more radio frequency.

In reality, if you are out in the sun often and live in a populous city with 4G/5G LTE towers nearby, chances are, you get more radiation from those sources than from using a specific LG V20 model.

If it doesn't work, you can factory reset your V20, replace the battery with a new but genuine one, and replace the micro sd card with a new but genuine one. Fake micro sd cards and fake batteries are the usual causes for problems like yours in addition to misbehaving apps. If the problem doesn't go away after a factory reset, after installing a new, genuine micro sd card (class A2, V30) and after installing a new, genuine, OEM battery, then, you should have your V20 repaired at the official LG service center. If you bought your V20 refurbished or secondhand or not brand new, you may have a defective unit also. Either way, having it repaired by an official LG service center is the only solution. That, and of course buying a new phone.
