This is by far the greatest flagship of LG. Sadly, they won't produce anything like this in the future since they want to go with the trend.

I mean everything you need is here:
Removable battery - I don't need to worry even when I'm out of the grid for three days riding my motorcycle. All i need is a spare battery charging kit and a powerbank and I'm good to go.
IR blaster - your remote for your TV, TV box, AC all in your phone while sitting peacefully on your couch
Great audio and camera - goes on par even with today's flagship
Solid Gaming - yep I spend most of this phone playing games.

I'm not buying any phone unless this one dies.

I bought this phone on 19th Sept 2017, been using it for months now and bootloop like you usually find on V10? Nope. V20 has none. There's only complain I have though is the screen is inferior compare to Samsung's.... And battery draining is a little bit fast, like 10 mins/1 percent drop, just normal browsing facebook. I don't use Facebook app, very troublesome and sucks. Other than these 2, everything else is totally okey.

If you're a hardcore audiophile, get LG V20. If you don't mind losing removable battery and IR sensor, get V35 ThinQ.

Reyax, 29 Jun 2018What about image retention. Screen burn Not as bad as what you see on 6 month old super amoled screens. Also it is barely visible and not permanent. It's gone after the screen has been off for a while or after you change to another screen.

Guys I STRONGLY advise you please don't throw away your money on all tho so called 'latest' flagships. There is hardly anything you are looking for in a phone in 2018 that you won't find in this beauty. Also I have not note that I have NEVER experienced a bootloop not even once. If you happen to get this phone either new or very good fairly used just buy it without hesitation. I'm saying this because I love to get good value for my money. Iphone 8, Iphone x and galaxy s9 are overrated. I happen to know when I started using this and I'm typing from it right now. I'm so happy I didn't waste my money. Cheers.

:) Moral lesson: Every phone can be made up to appear like it had a bootloop issue when there is none as there are always isolated cases of some with factory defects.

This phone is simply amazing. Lg will never make anything like this again. Lol. I bought mine for 200 dollars as fairly used but almost as new and men I was blown away by its performance. I actually wanted to buy samsung s9 plus but saw this lg v20 and just decided to go for it. I bought a spare battery and my I leave home with confidence. Camera is really good, screen is amazing, phone is pretty fast and doesn't lag no matter what you give it and sound is soooooo good. I will surely keep this for another 2 years. I heard oreo is coming to it so fingers crossed. I recommend this for anyone that wants an all round phone and more.

Advertising for waterproofing is really misleading. Here's more info about ip68 test procedure and why you shouldn't take photos with an ip68 phone while swimming (at the pool or beach) or use it while taking a shower or wash it under running water, and why a non distilled water/fresh water spill (coffee, soda or wine spill over the ip68 phone) doesn't guarantee survival: More reading:

Yes, that removable battery. One of the really useful features of the V20. Spare batteries and extended batteries means you never run out of juice. Much more useful than the overhyped ip68 rating that has caused so much pain, suffering and devastation from naive iPhone, Samsung and Xperia users who thought that their phone's ip68 rating means you can take it to the shower, shoot photos while swimming at the beach or pool, or wash the phone's exterior under running faucet water.

Well I made a search here on this website for phones with a removable battery with minimum 4gb ram and 2gh processor and the v20 stands out. I am fascinated by the idea of being able to switch batteries whenever I feel like it as opposed to always charging my phones. Now 3200 mah is way too little but I watched a video and saw that the case of v20 is opened by pressing a button, as opposed to prying plastics like the other phones. I was considering samsung j7 duo too but the reviews on it are only in Indian and I cannot see if the case is as easy to open so the v20 definitely wins here, even though an amoled screen is more efficient. But with that underpowered 3200 mah battery who cares ill just carry another battery in my bag lol. Really, to hell with planned obsolescence and non removable batteries and thin phones.

According to your 'correct information', the V20's IR blaster is a gimmick, the removable battery is unnecessary ,the FM radio is for 'lowly' people, most people don't need dual sim, and a hybrid sd card slot is the same as a dedicated sd card slot. According to your 'correct information', amoleds last as long as ips displays, suffer less permanent screen burn in as ips, and are more color accurate than ips. According to your 'correct information' the S7 has FM radio and dual sim with dedicated slot at the same time (when the truth is, you combined features of two entirely different S7 variants.) According to your 'correct information' people don't need the V20's multitude of 'extra' features because they are gimmicks and the only things important to look for in a phone are 'screen, battery, memory (whatever you mean by that), and camera'. According to your 'correct information', the V20 is not worth buying in 2018 because according to Google, it is not even listed in the top 20 best phones. Look whose talking. It's the toilet bowl telling the rug it's dirty. :)
