I just bought v30+ amazing phone but i have a question does it support dolby vision? My older g6 supported it but i cant play dolby videos on v30 it says its not supported i contacted lg and they said its only HDR10 compatible on the other hand v30 can play hdr videos on youtube no problem but g6 shows them as common sdr i thought both phones support both HDR10 and dolby vision

Very slim phone.
The cameras are good, not the best but they do the job.
Overall i'm happy for buying it.

One of, if not, the top cameras in any smart phone

Cons:
SLOW updates with no feedback as to the release timeline
My first V30 arrived defective with a line straight down the center of the screen, only visible when the screen is on; no method to recieve a new replacement (only refurbished) for a phone that arrives defective besides returning and re-ordering
No front firing stereo speakers, only a mono downward firing (unnacceptible in a top-teir device)
The bootloader is locked and is unrootable
No 2160p60 support (Not many other devices support it though either)
The entry model of this top-teir device has only 64GB of storage
No IR blaster unlike the V20

Amazing phone light in weight, multi and highly productive tasks phone nearly same as galaxy note 8 except no pin.
1- From the off-screen you can interact with the phone like taking a memo, snap a photo, turn on/off Bluetooth, wifi, data.
2- stylish design.
3- crisp screen.

AnonD-416152, 27 Mar 2018samsung troll detected I have both mobile with me now. And using them side by side every day. If you can't digest that then don't play sour grape. If you haven't used s7 edge then you don know about it.
PS: if you wana check check the forum of s7 edge under the name crazyboys_tp. And I even had used HTC U11 for 6 months before getting my LG V30+ check there also if you like.
