why doesn't my LG velvet 5G receive android 11 software update? Mine is internationcal Canada version. Pls help

    is not so tall, like this one 167mm
    it just 154mm

    also sd765 have so close specs to sd690. there isn't so much diff btw them

          check the cameras, OP8 and OP8T are way worse.

            Anonymous, 02 Jun 2021Lg velvet 4g vs oneplus 8? Almost same price. OP8 has a much more powerful SD 865 processor, a better camera, and a higher screen refresh rate. You buy the Velvet 4G because you deeply value microSD card, headphone jack, and FM Radio. If you don't care about any of them, I would skip the OP8 and go for OP8T.

The Android smartphone market itself is already saturated with bucket loads of cheap phones with near-flagship hardware, so you do really have to justify yourself on why buying a smartphone that isn't from those top brands. And remember, 99% of people would mainly go for Chinese brands, particularly Xiaomi because of its Poco sub-brand.

                          Lg velvet 4g vs oneplus 8? Almost same price.

                            This smartphone currently the best you can buy for under $300, considering that it still has at least 2 years of software updates from LG and that it is already running on Android 11. So it is guaranteed to get Android 12 and Android 13. And all that software and hardware for under $300 is crazy. You will not find a brand new, sealed device better than this for under $300.
                            Personally, when I saw how cheap it was, I immediately bought one.

                                LG phones are time bombs suddenly locking up and not allowing phone or Google account recovery rendering the phones useless. They (LG) will refuse to replace or repair them despite their warranty and instead send users on endless runarounds knowing there is nothing that can be done but replace the new phone again at full cost. We're forming a class action to deal with them properly once and for all.

                                  I heard Lg no longer deals with smartphones

                                        I don't know what your talking about. I have the LG Velvet from Koodo and the update to android 11 is solid and NOT lagging battery is great and I have a case from OtterBox for my Velvet.
