I bought CAnvas4 recently and in one week I returned the phone back as it has lot of faults.
1. No signal is detected at my place while other phones are able to detect
2. Wifi is not working
3. Bluetooth not working
4. Phone gets heated up
5. GPS not working.
I feel the look and feel is excellent but there are lot of problems. I am personally attached with Indian company phones but Micromax has to develop a lot.
When phone is not able to detect the signal then what is the basic use. Does micromax dont ever think about that. Please dontbuy this phone. I have seen lot of people in queue in customer care with lot of problems. surprised to see that I have gone to service centre or tirupathi darshan.. If you want to take risk then go for it.. else play safe

I bought C4 on Dec 2014, still i am not facing any problem in my phone. Awesome . I love this phone in this price range. I am sure, i prefer to any one to the best mobile in this range.

since the time i purchased canvas 4 it came up with steel cover and scratch gard. but i guess steel cover is not suitable and in 20 days my phone is having many scratches in scratch guard and inside steel cover. i think many of us may have such issue. in 20 days my phone doesn't look new.

before it my video player also not showing 180... more90 degree/portrait videos plays in default video player but NOT FULL SCREEN.
Default player only plays landscape/180 degree videos FULL SCREEN.
To view portrait videos full screen you need to download MX player.

All the above except No. 2 & 5 doesn't make a difference which phone you buy.
For No. 2 & 5 you will need to go for C4. Good battery backup and large internal memory.
C4-17999 appx. Magnus-14999 appx. (genuine dealer)
Please buy any smartphone from genuine dealers. Don't buy online.
