Guys Microsoft is not ending up windows phone series. They only discontinue lumia series. Lumia is the only hardware not windows os. Microsoft still continue to produce windows phone which would renamed as Surface Phone.

User should know, this is the end of lumia lines. Microsoft lost all the chances to come forward. Now microsoft itself is not interested in phone business. Better to leave windows phone. People say windows phone is smooth but not android. That was android jelly bean vs 8.1 . Now it is exactly opposite.

No hotstar apps,No official YouTube,No JIO apps,Office package is just useless in Windows phone.Nobody going to buy Windows phone.Microsoft accepted Windows OS is the bad choice if we go for the Smartphone.

Hello guys its impossible for me to update from 8.1 tot windows 10. Im getting the following error 0x80070002. I reset the phone ten times but nothing happens it switches back tot 8.1
Anybody with advice ?

Most of you guys are rookies dont know how this platform works ...there are not that much bugs in windows 10 now ...it works perfect for me...except the lag of universal windows apps when they convert all the 8.1 app to uwp apps the crash issue will be shouted...for me windows 10 working fine andi it has edge browser which provides you desktop like experience on mobile...

You guyx are right! No more Microsoft or Windows Phone. These are good only to beput under the door, so that it not closes accidentally. I smeshed my L 640 to the wall, MS is a mistake!!! From now on for ever Android Android Android Andorid

Don't defend Windows phone you know Microsoft Office apps having so many limitations in its own OS but will perform brilliantly over Android and iOS.One words for Windows phone its pathetic.

Thanks for the advice, but I tried to reset via PC and ... moreDo you know that Windows 8.1 development is now stopped no further development and no update for the improvement of Windows 8.1 better to stay with Windows 10 latest version.I am using both Lumia 1320 and 640 dual sim and yes 1320 having much problems than the Lumia 640 because 640 running over Windows 10 but no 1320 will not get Windows 10 and still running with older Windows 8.1.Don't go back to Windows 8.1 you will regret with your decision.I will suggest don't buy Windows phone better to go with the Android or iPhone.

You need to download Windows Device Recovery Tool and connect you device witch pc then open Windows Device Recovery Tool and fallow the steps that will back to 8.1.

All data and installed apps will get removed. And you will get a fresh start on your phone. If you want to roll back to 8.1 from 10 you will need a pc for this.

i am using a Lumia 640 since december 2015.
despite correct hardware specs Lumia 640 offers a very poor user experience since win 10 upgrade. Every subsequent update of win 10 make things worse (remove functionalities) and does not fix the obvious and numerous bugs. it is NOT a recomended purchase.

i bought this phone lumia 640 dual sime last december evrything was ok till last august one day all the pictures gon on black and if i take new pictures they will be deleted automatically after new start .... can some one help me to fix this?? thanks
