They also have a 650 coming out and the specs are not as good as the 640. So why would I buy these phones. Microsoft we need at least 2gbs of ram and at 16g of storage.

It is true that upcoming apps might have higher requirements, but Windows Phone manages memory better than Android.

8GB ROM with SD card support is reasonable. But you wouldn't be able play or used several upcoming apps or FHD games on 1GB RAM lumia 850.

Although named 850, this phone does not have impressive specs, MS might not consider this so "high-end", but mainstream, and if priced fair, should not be a problem. If the specs are right, aside for coming with Windows 10 out of the box, 640XL is the better phone, and 640 is about the same as this one

Do not be fooled, 1Gb Ram in Windows Phone is not the same as for Android phones, as Android phones need more Ram to work well. I have both Lumia 640XL and LG G Flex 2, so I have experience with both worlds

Microsoft always come with shit 1gb ram. Will they think about mid range phone better processor atleast 1.3 quad core 2 gb ram 16 gb rom 13 megapixel camera and 5 megapixel for selfie

Out of 1GB RAM you will hardly get 600MB to 700 MB. MS words, MS Excel, MS power point all required Minimum 1GB RAM to run the Application.
After adding few more favorite games and 30 to 40 essential applications, those available RAM will be again reduced to half. I think this phone is not worth trying by MS office users.

2mp is too small for selfies unless its sharp like iphone 5 or 5s. They should make it 5mp front camera and add shutter button on hardware

I love ❤ it.
But no idea for it's price!
But I'm guess it - it's 12000₹-16000₹ .(under 300 $).
The 10 MP CAMERA is soo advanced and Front camera 2 MP good not best in this price range
Microsoft works very good on build quality and design is fantastic.
I'll waiting for lunch in India for this phone.
But this is compete by Samsung galaxy A3,A5,A7(2016) .
The Samsung galaxy A series 's (2016 version) design are better than Microsoft Lumia 850.
