Daniel, 28 Nov 2009I have not experienced your problem but I managed to disas... moreYes, I know what's inside the phone :)
I've seen one dissasembled piece-by-piece.
The problem with the screen is that I hate those dust particles. Anyway, I talked with the official service provider in my country and they'll take care of it. :D
It's the only problem I have with my Aura.
Oh, and yes, I still love the blooming thing :))
I wanted a phone to look good... if I need sumthin' to cook for me, or to vacuum the house or whatever, come on, I'll get a made. ;)

Later edit: The only metal parts are the back cover, the one you take out to reach the battery - and the front sliding tongue. The back bottom is chromed plastic.

amenx, 26 Nov 2009Can someone, please, tell me if they experienced any lens p... moreI have not experienced your problem but I managed to disassembly the phone (only the bottom part) and I had quite a view ;).
With this occasion I saw that in fact the back lens is plastic made, or plexi ... in no case crystal as I thought ... so pay attention that it scratches if U insist.
The screen lens I could not reach because I was afraid to force the disassembly. I had no dust issues here.
In my case I wanted to repair the scratched plastic around the keypad. I managed to do it (repaint) but it took me a few days to realize how to assembly back the rotating mechanism. Anyway the scratched part (see the photos I made few posts ago) is very easily removable - WITHOUT EVEN TRYING TO DISASSEMBLY the pone - is just sticked with a double layer adhesive band - but the Motorola Customer Care does no even try to offer any assistance. A few hints would have been very useful.
The conclusion is that the phone looks spectacular on the outside, but seeing its "interiors" you will discover that you paid a whole s*it of money for a different design, metal case, a beautiful screen, crystal sapphire lens and that's all. The rotating mechanism is far from what Motorola wants to induce from their marketing.
That's all folks!

I've seen a few comments in here about the Moto Aura that it doesn't deserve the money... Yes, it's true only if you want to have a phone with a lot of apps. This phone wasn't made for all whistles and bells hi-tech specs. This is just a jewellery-phone.

Can someone, please, tell me if they experienced any lens problems with the AURA?
There are a few dust particles under my lens which can be seen when the screen is turned off... and that ruins the phone's aspect.
I posted a question on Motorola forum, but I haven't got an answer from there yet.
Thanks.
