Ritz, 06 Sep 2010Looks like wrong specs.. Android 2.1 and having flash 10.1 ... moreAccording to Adobe, the Nexus One,
HTC EVO 4G, HTC Desire, Motorola
DROID, Motorola DROID X and
Motorola DROID 2 are all certified to
run Flash but not any devices that pack Froyo are able to run flash 10.

Moto Defy is running 2.1 but rich the requirement to run 2.2 and flash 10 and will surely get Froyo in the near futur. But some devices even with Froyo still need to get certified by adobe to be running flash 10.

If you read my previews post, I said Defy run 2.1 and got flash 3.

          While those with Android
          phones running Froyo
          probably think that they
will be able to install Flash
Player 10.1, the truth is a
          little different. Adobe has confirmed
          that smartphones powered by
          Android 2.2 have processor
requirements that must be met in
order to run Flash. The speed of the
chip depends on the resolution of
the display on the device. For
example, on Adobe's web site, it
          says that an Android handset
          powered by Froyo and equipped
with a VGA screen, needs a processor
clocked in at 550MHz or faster and
          hardware Vector FPU support in
order to be able to use Flash Player
10.1. If the screen is WVGA, the chip
needs to be a dedicated Cortex A8
800MHz or faster, along with the
          hardware Vector FPU support.
According to Adobe, the Nexus One,
HTC EVO 4G, HTC Desire, Motorola
          DROID, Motorola DROID X and
Motorola DROID 2 are all certified to
run Flash. The software firm says it is
aware of some Android 2.2 phones
that will not meet the minimum
          requirements. Because these units
have not yet been introduced by
          their manufacturer, Adobe will not
reveal the names of those devices.

adobe flash 3.1 is for symbian, android has other versons.

EDGE 33 and 12 differs a little but has no practical differences, cause most of the networks provides EDGE 10 or 12 and no other brand excet nokia is going to provide EDGE 33,

don't write something that you don't know.

Well done Moto! Keep it up!

I didn't want to critic Motorola Defy, I just said that Asia is the most advanced. I don't have problem with Moto. By the way in 2006 Android didn't even existed. :D I just said that the waterproof technology is not that new. :)

But it's great to see them return, like this Motorola. The only thing I hope is that "gorilla glass" is not the same (weak, shattering) glass that is used on iPhone 4 but something from other supplier and actually tough.
