Stock testing only (both 2.1 and 2.2 update). One of the worst phone's I've owned. I seriously hope it's not indicative of Android in general. Had two replaced due to unresolvable stability issues and outright failures. Had the battery replaced due to failure (bulging).

NAYAN, 30 Mar 2012Guys can anyone pls tell me ..m unable to download anything... moreThe reason might be that, you've set your phone on data saver mode. To disable this, go to settings>data manager>data saver> then uncheck the data saver tick. That should work.

Owned a defy for the past 3 months. After updating it to CM7.2 RC1, the phone has simply blown my mind with its awesome performance. My suggestion to all defy owners, get off the stock Froyo 2.2 and upgrade to CM7. You'll never regret it.

I wanted to buy motorola defy but its unavailable in mumbai,all vendors saying this device is discontinued by moto..ne idea where will I get this phone? or which phone do I buy instead of defy?(no defy+ because my budget is very tight,I can't extend it by Rs2500 more so any other phone instead of defy and defy+ u suggest?)

Tej, 12 Mar 2012Hw it b ipgraded 2 cynogen 7.1 plzzzz share d procedure....to upgrade to gingerbread through cm7.1,check on cyanogenmod wiki forum.they have a very gud step by step procedure.you can also check on youtube,there are great tutorials there.hope this helps.cheers.

Its really an excellent ... morehello there.am a proud owner of this great handset.to deal with the problem of black screen all yu hav to do is reboot the handset.whilst yu are rebooting press the volume down key and a screen appears with a droid or sumthng.simultaneously press both the volume keys and you will be in the recovery section.now restore to factory settings and after wipe data cache
then reboot the phone.you will be back in the game.hope this will help you. cheers.
