is there a way to activate pause button while recording videos on this phone? I've tried upgrading the FW and even downloaded several video apps but still having the same? pls help. thanks in adv

i'm confused in choosing between the galaxy ace and defy .. the resellers here say that defy would soon be phased out.. i'd go for the defy+ , but its cos of the budget i want defy

Balajisaamiyaar, 13 Jan 2012is this upgradeable to 2.3 ?no, this only gets 2.2. but you can root your phone and advance it to gingerbread 2.3. you can check out this website :http://www.facebook.com/pages/Motorola-Defy-English/271514366215510 . ask the people there , they will show u ;). If you do not want to root your phone, you can refer to Defy+ , the successor of Defy

As LG Optimus One pack... morethanx for ur reply ming. i feel Defy+ is not worth d penny compared to Defy. anyway defy can be installed with Gingerbread(CM 7) as many users did. What abt audio quality compared to LG O1? coz i loves very much d music quality of LG O1 both in my Creative EP630 headsets and in my car music thru 3.5mm aux-in. What about battery backup of Defy compared to LG o1. for me LG o1 give 2-3 days backup for normal voice/music usage. For enough 3G data usage it can stand up for a day.

motorola defy looks so simple but has all the accessories i want..the size screen looks perfect resolution...as i said completely packages.thanks motorola defy..

As LG Optimus One packs Android 2.2 Froyo, the Defy also gets update only to Froyo. A Defy+ with a newer Moto UI and Gingerbread OS would suit you better as an upgrade from your LG Optimus One. As for the audio quality, Defy or Defy+ doesn't come pre-installed with much EQ settings, but you can always download music players that have good EQ settings from the market. Definitely recommending the Defy+

Been using it for a year, dropped it hard couple of times and its been in water, mud and sand. Took the beatings pretty well until its last ugly fall, the screen bleed but found a replace screen with tools and guide for $24 on eBay.
Root and install CM7 for best performance, don't forget to backup the original Rom. Everything runs on it just fine.

can documents be edited in defy? i am in thinking of moving frm LG O1 to defy. attracted by 3.7" scren, small form factor, Screen resoultion, flash Support n etc. anybody can tell if anything else i would miss from my LG O1 if u go to Defy. With PowerAmp i am enjoying much the audio qualify of LG O1 which is better than my prv Nokia 5800 Xps Music. using LG O1 as music player in my car too connecing via Aux-in. Wouldn't i miss this if i go to Defy? pls.suggest me. thanx in advance
