My defy is one year old now. If it breaks down (but it won't :-) I would buy exactly the same device ! The best about this phone is the form factor : small and light ! The screen did not suffer from the size of the phone : it is large (larger than the iphone's) and has the high resolution! The best part : this phone is now supported by CyanogenMod, :-)

Got a problem on the camera and saving it to the memory card,,,, I've taken series of pictures, in ten shots only 2 were saved on the memory card,,,, your/any response is highly appreciated

Wow I brought Defy for 8 months And Its Really Great... The best Phone I ever got.I have a fascinations for Mobiles & Now hv Samsung Galaxy S, LG Optimus but am 100% satisfied with this Motorola defy . Its Tough,Excellent quality, camera good, Battery back is far better than Samsung Galaxy S & L.G. Optimus. My Phone was dipped in Swimming pool by mistake for more than 20 minutes, but its amazing - no problem at all. I would really thankful to Motorola for making such a Wonderful device ...

This is a great phone. Ive had it for about a year now with no problems. I've rooted it and uploaded android 2.3 to it and over clocked the processor to 1.2 Ghz with no problem of heat. I've dropped it in a pool about 3 feet and still works with out complaint :-)

I have this phone, rooted with stock rom 2.2. Works great, that's a hard phone, try to throw in a pool an iphone or to the floor. Nice screen resolution, it's a very little and light phone considering he has a 3.7 inch screen and an special, water resistant housing

DEFY+ the body is the same but has better CPU and IP67 offciial certification for dust, shock and 30 minutes 1 m under water resistance!

MOTOROLA DEFY
... more1)in my opinion if you want style and speed go for the sony neo v ,is most probably going to get ics .
2)if you want a phone that does not have a flash,will only get Samsung value added pack of ics (just the features of ics but still gingerbread ,which will still take many months)go for the Samsung galaxy sl
3)if you want durability go for the defy plus(this too will get ported with ics unofficial for sure infact already has a cm9 the only negative point is that camera is not working but will soon be working)
4)and if you want Motorola defy plus for a cheaper price (assuming you have the knowledge to root and port cm7 and overclock the processor which is pretty much easy )go for the Motorola defy(this too has a cm9 ics port but the same problem camera is not working)
note :defy is not banned and will never will get banned
note they defy and the defy+ have a good ppi ratio better then the samsung galaxy s and the processor are fast too
