meh, 17 Aug 2011I've had this phone for about 9 months now and it finally d... moreBuddy...my friend also faced a same issue but it is because some internal corruption or shortage of circuits, you can fix it showing Moto's service center...and u've appx. 2-3 months waranty left why shouldn't u r claiming???

panwar, 18 Aug 2011i brought DEFY few months back and happy with its performan... moresorry to give unwanted suggestion...but if u use any 3.5 mm jack computer speaker or amplifier or bt or wifi,you can do loud jobs but u have to put phone in range... :-(

esinig, 18 Aug 2011hi to all firends,dears i want to buy this phone but have 2... morebuddy why only see it's draw-back...camera quality will be raised after ginger version or with roms of it and u have to go for costly delicate body phones which consists AMOLED screens...This is tough phone for tough buddies like us...go for it if u've planned...

The only advantage in that is 1GHZ processor and Battery. However outside you have lot of custom roms to install if you want Gingerbread.. Overall Defy is much better phone and I would recommend.

i brought DEFY few months back and happy with its performance but i face/realise some issue with its speaker and its heat up. you can't not talk more than 20 min without using headphone, it keeps buring while you are taking.
Another thing which i am missing is FM on speaker. only a single person can listen FM. Rest is fine with this Cell.

I've had this phone for about 9 months now and it finally died. It worked really fast in the beginning but now it won't turn on anymore. The phone got progressively slower and slower and more weird things started happening. Before it died, it would call people randomly and continue calling them until you took out the battery and restarted the phone. Sometimes the phone would shut off randomly. Sometimes the phone runs so slow, typing a text will take FOREVER...you could press a key and it would take a good 10 seconds for the key to respond. I was also told the screen was "scratch proof" which is not true...I have several scratches on the screen.
Some features I did like: The camera takes decent pictures during the daytime or in natural lighting, I really like the swype text. It's water proof (so long as all the plugs are closed). I also liked the size, it's not bulky or huge. The buttons across the bottom also made it easier to navigate through the phone which I liked.

hey is this phone good?? is it reliable? is it fast?? do you guys think there will be an android 2.3 update for motorola defY? can we play HD/3D games on the motorola defy?? does it lag?? what are the problems when you guys update to android 2.2?? is it worth it?? Which is better?? samsung galaxy sl i9003 or Motorola Defy?? I might buy the motorola defy this sept.. so i really need your answers guys.. plsss tell me.. :) and should i wait for the new Motorola Defy+ ?? some one told me that they'll release it this september... :)) plsss answer... back.. i really need your opinion guys.. hi, i bought defy 1 month ago now i am facing problem in connecting it with usb to pc. nothing happens on connecting not even charging...i've tried restarting, uninstalling n reinstalling drivers...even done factory reset but no luck..any help....?
