hi all.. hv been usin defy since march '11.. no issues at all.. battery performance improves wid juice defender.. texting is awesome via swype.. d device is pretty good.. grt sunlight legibility.. yet to upgrade to 2.2 tho update is available at moto service centers.. motion gaming is d envy of buyers of ace n other such devices.. best part is its sturdiness.. fell out of hand from a bike, dropped in a bucket.. no probs at all.. just one thing.. get a screen guard.. d screen is only scratch resistant, nt scratch proof..

overall the phone is good... but it lacks in performance .. particularly in gprs and edge.. mainly facebook application and maps.. when google map app opened the mobile got hanged it shows cpu 100%... this is common error in deft because i could see posts related this in many websites....

Internal memory and ram are hardware, the only way you can change is the screwdiver open up the phone and change it. Thats the case where phone is like laptop in which its not. Do the math.
