I am in the Philippines and was able to update 2.2.2 with MSU here in the Philippines however mine is retail Italian, since I purchased it on Sulit online.

its has great water resistant capacity.
unblivble.fast ,smart,durable,grt cam,. i dont thing anybody wants anything more in a smart phone.

anyone able to update their software to 2.2? i am from phl and the memo from moto said update is available already for south east asia. unfortunately, still cant update ota. please share other ways to do it.

Have use all android phone in Malaysia market before. HTC Google Nexus One, SAMSUNG Galaxy S, SE Xperia x10 and MOTOROLA xt720. But DEFY quality much better than others. Unique and resist. Recommend for outdoor activity user. Sorry for my broken english, ya!

I am sorry to disapoint you guys, but I have a problem with the battery: never lasted more than 12h with all aplications closed. Also there was moments when I was called but the vocal messaging were entering. And as a final statement, the back side of the phone was getting real hot in standby. I am a little disapointed of Defy. After 12 days I had to send it to service station for all these problems.

helo evrybudy.i wana buy my frst android 4 myself.m using nokia n79 thogh being whole lots of features nd gud betry bckup m bored with ths fon my frnd whos the hardcore motorola user sugestd me defy,i had other option of htc desire.
So can u ol defy userz plz sugest me is it worth chosing defy over desire.
I heard abt the watr resistance of the fon. Is it realy worth the statement tht its water nd dust prof?

If u are accepting the files to ur mobile from other device then for every connection you need to activate the "Discoverable" mode of your mobile.
"Discoverable" mode has to activated even though the device is already there in your 'paired device' list.
Let me tell you how to activate "Discoverable" mode.
1)First "On" your Bluetooth.
2)Go to 'Setting'.
3)Go to 'Wireless & networks'
4)Go to "Bluetooth settings'
4)Click on "Discoverable"
5)Now send the file from your PC or Bluetoothe enabled Device.
6)Once the file transfering process starts some indication logo on the upper stript (i.e. exactly opposite to battery symbol) will come.
7)Scroll the indication logo down
8)Click on "Accept"
It's that simple!
