Hello everybody today I bought this phone I love the design the size of screen the plastic it is seem perfect. First thing I charge it without do anything else. After that I remember that the memory include is only 2 gb and try to turn it off for changing the sdcard but it not happen it just restart all the time I was trying to turn it off. After few tryings I decide to see what is installed but it also dont get to this menu thats show installed apps. I was so dissapointed and finaly I remove the battery to turn it off. At last before going to store and give them back I turn it on and it is working perfectly more than 8 hours. So I will keep the phone is so good to hold it and doing stuff. It seems like an (normal) software bug as all type have sometime and it fix after restart. So I like it is much faster than my old zte blade faster than numbers say I think.

Defy Onwer, 16 Jun 2011I just got my defy upgraded to 2.2.2( froyo ) from Service ... moreHi just flashed my DEFY to froyo 2.2.2 from the sbf file i got on the net.Till now it has been running pretty fine.Lets see how it goes as time progresses..Just a few additons to the screens and apps.Are there any noticeable improvements in this Froyo upgrade?

I want to buy this phone but have 2 questions...if anybody can please answer it will be really helpfull
1.Can it read & edit powerpoint presentations (motorola India site says that it can read word & excel files, no mention of powerpoint)
2. Can it read Compiled HTML & PDF format ebooks......that is very important as i want to use the phone a ebook reader mainly

I just got my defy upgraded to 2.2.2( froyo ) from Service center in india,initially it was bit sluggish but after hard rest it works absolutely fine, its now very smooth but i noticed tht battery get drained very fast but apart frm tht evry thing is fine

Told by Motorola Call Center (India) today that the Froyo upgrade for Defy is currently in test. There is no ETA yet.

wanna buy this cp but after reading some defects well i guess will stick to nokia N8 despite its issue.............
