Hey guys. Can anyone who has this phone tell me about the battery life that they're getting out of it. I've been considering it along with the Samsung Galaxy Ace. The specifications say that the Ace has much better battery life but some users are complaining about it. I'm a light-to-moderate user. On average I would use it for sending around 40 texts, calling for around 20 mins, and surfing for around 10 mins per day. How long could I expect the DEFY to last on one charge?

But do we know for sure that 2.2 update on Defy will bring Adobe flash support ? there are many other phones like LG O1, Samsung Galaxy Ace which run on 2.2 but do not support flash. The reason is given as hardware limitation. Galaxy Ace CPU runs on 800MHz which is same as Defy but different processors are used in these 2 phones. As far I can understand Defy hw should be able to support adobe flash but has Motorola committed or can they still release 2.2 without full flash support?

but it will slow down your web browsing experience when it have to load the flash content.
i'm still waiting to see gpu acceleration at least in flash...
with dual-core you are "save" because i have read that one core take care of the interface, and the other core take care of other functions...
something that will be easer if the gpu could take care of the interface... and flash... ... ... well maybe in android "3.5, 4.0"... ... ... ...

After 75 days struck my first Defy problem with those i called not hearing me neither on phone mode or speakerphone.
After turning it off and restarting it i have made my last 6 calls without any similar problem

my motorola defy is coming tomorrow, so i will tell you then.
i guess that you will have to wait to the release of android 2.2 to get the "full flash" experience.
or just root the phone and get 2.3!
thats what i am going to do if the 2.3 version is not release this year.

I have used Sony headset and also generic brand of set and my music is crystal clear through these. Ps as yet i have not used my Defy headset so i can not comment on its function today, but i will test it later today and get back 2 U ...

Hey folks!
Am gonna buy the DEFY shortly (approx after an hour)! And I know that it comes with Adobe Flash support in browser, but can any of thew owners confirm what happens if you try to manually install Adobe Flash from Android Market?
Does it install/update Flash player or does it simply refuse to get installed?

anybody please help me ....i went 2 univercell hyd for buying this phone i came 2 know that there is no moto blur in the device.... can anybody confirm in india its launched with or without motoblur......

Had it for two days.. good built but bad motorola service.. froyo upgrade on 2nd quarter.. its too late.. the 3.5mm is covered with soft rubber. could have used the same material like the usb lid... horrible battery but good performance.. good screen sharpness and brightness..
