It appears e398 doesn't support that. look who's stupid now. LOL!
All I care about to be honest is the ability to use headphone that I like with this phone. So yes, still buying it. =)

Sorry for calling you lot stupid. But think about it. This phone supports the AAC format as well as mp3. Now the AAC is made by Apple, meaning a 5mb tune would be 1.2mb on AAC. The Quicktime version of AAC is supposed to be better quality and compression than mp3. Only the Quicktime version though. Other third party copiers/ formatters suck!!. So 128mb = 120 tunes =)

1 Some functios uses phone memory only

CONCLUSION
pays every penny you spend by its avalable functions and a good phone in its class (price and functionality)

1. how and by which prog to convert, along with settings to get the video size equal to the screen of the phone
2. when i down load the video its size is changed to around 1/6th of the phone screen HELP REQUIRED
3. my down loaded video finishes late and the audio of that video finishes in half the time ?????????

hey everyone.
i know its 22khz through the speakers, but what about headphone playback? in other words, will it matter if mp3 quality is dropped to make more songs fit on the transflash card?

I guess your right. The forwarding problem occured when my inbox had more than 40 text messages. After I deleted half of it, the forwarding worked fine.
BTW, can anyone please tell me if I can listen MP3s through BT headset? I'm planning to buy one for the sole purpose of listening MP3s, and I want to be sure b4 I buy. I hate the dangling cable of the supplied headset.

Ari_O - don't call all of us stupid. Are you sure you can playack ACC format on this phone? Care to explain to us how this can be achieved? I heard ACC sounds bad.

I have bought e398 yesterday and I find it as a great mobile. It's simply but beautifully designed and equiped with lots of practical functions...
I have heard it's pretty slow...but I have had ericsson r320 before-that's a slow mob...:)
So, if you are looking for an excellent, nice and modern mobile for not a very high price try motorola e398...i recommend it

Ahmed its difficult to choose between a E398 or a K700 both of them are very good , while the SE has video recording the e398 has video playback with such good sound that it leaves other phones gasping for breath plus i was fed up of using the silver colour on mobile phones
the e398 has a sexy black velvety feel the resolution is better and the battery lasts for 3 days compared to 1 day of a SE

Might be getting this fone.. Its ok.. And its quite cheap also... ONly 4 mb files can be tranfered?? Oh well... hey but its stil good..

thx for da info Shabbar, but i am wondering if there's a transfer limit for E398? because i can totally tranfer files under 4.0mb succesfully, but anything that is over 6.0mb, it says "system error" on the fone screen. WHAT'S Wrong???

Hi Guys,
I just Upgrade my S/w to 95R which i got it today ,... its working flawlessly and the lagging part is also not there ,
The brown screen from the back is also gone. Ne one from India tried this ...if not i sujjest do and need ny help feel free to ask me ....

P.S. You're all stupid if you don't change your mp3 to AAC (128mb = 120 AAC tunes) =)
