Hi ya all, I can say i am a newbie to motorola and BT.... i just got a E398 and a HBH 65. Once i got it, it paired perfectly. but after 2 days, the connection seems to disconnect itself after about 1 minute. i tried to reconnect it plenty of times but it still disconnect itself after a minute. So i deleted the HBH 65 in the list. but now i cant seem to detect the HBH 65. both are fully charged. I try to find connection from both my HBH 65 and E398 but cant seem to find any devices. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

hi guys.. does u all have de problem that de keypad's light goes off and lights back randomly?
for example, when i'm messaging.. de keypad's light will juz go off for awhile and even i continue pressing.. only after awhile then the light comes back.. weird isnt it..?

Nd, juz disactivate ur bluetooth and dun select de 'find me' option.

Stefan, u have to search for things for your moto, u dont get everything without even trying. Search this forum and u will find many link with moto stuff, but dont expect us to always point out links that have already been mentioned.

On phone Menu->Settings-Connection- check this maybe ur default connection is DATA and FAX TRANSMISSION change it to ur memory card...see if this works

hi.. i buy this phone 5 days ago.. but why when i connect this phone to pc through usb, my phone cant be detected...
mobile phone tools always initializing my phone.. why that happen??? i try to update the software, but nothing happen.. whats happen to my phone???? please help me...!!!

ooops sorry, fer the wrong info..... both of these phones uses PST 6.7 and Midway 2.8

great news!! here's a webite for those of u who wanna download java games to the E398....its for the t720 but since both of these phones support java.take a look .and the PST prog and also the Midway for this two phones is different...but i guess,by this time u guys know what program versions that this E398 uses..

hello pink lady! had the same problem. just keep on trying...pls read my earlier comment re loading music into the phone. funny but after several attempts, loading became very easy. the software misbehaves sometimes by saying that your phone has terminated its connection with the PC! this happens even if your phone and computer are wired properly via usb. when this occurs, i stop and postpone the loading for another time. usually, it "obliges" and allows you to load music even if you ignored the earlier problem. it can be very frustrating and tiring but very well worth the wait once you get the music loaded.

hello e398 members out there.I been using this hp 4 3 month its fantastic but i have a problem downloading can anyone help me please.i try many time to download a song direct to my t flash card but fail.I must download to a phone than to a card and it depand on your hp memory and it takes only 4mb of song file per download can anyone help me please.

Thanks for you great opinions about E-398. My side,, i really support the phone.. that moto had successfully get overidden the features of latest nokias. with own OS & J2mE (java) it really works fine. Previously i was using e-365 and campared to that, this phone really fantastic.
Friends, can u help me?
- I got few java games downloaded to my pc.. but cannot transfer to my phone. why?
- The software that provided by moto with USB got NO function of uploading APPS & games.. even cannot see any folder named as games or apps under mobile explorer functions??
- Everytime i need to download the games through W@P.
- How you all download the games (java) from PC to e-398.. PLS HELP..

Hello everyone. I truly love this phone. It's very well built, the sound is beyhond comparison with the rest, the touch is incredible.... Bit of trouble with transferring mp.3 though. Last time I did it, some corrupted files messed up the t-flash. Had to format it. Anyone with the same prob?

it's nice phone. but the keypad put me off, but it's done excellent work
