hey mcstephnson,
its like this. the VGA is better than the CIF cam but not as good as the mega pixel cams. it's pretty simple you just multiply the given resolution. for an example 640 into 480 would be around 307200 pixels. so that's about 0.3 of a megapixel. it all depends on this resolution. in other phones with better cams u'd find 1.3 MP,2MP,3MP cams and so on...
this is what i gather dude. if im wrong i'd be glad if someone else can point it out. thanks for reading anyway...

i just bought the moto e398 and it's a cool phone but i just wanna know how do i save mp3's on my phone and also the software gives me problems when i try to install it

i found mp3 player doesnot have equaliser. wat a pity!!! does anybody know if there is a third party software for equalizer....

I need help. I was copying mp3 files from my computer to the phone when a data cyclic redundancy error occurred. After that, all files in the memory card were erased. However, i checked the available space on the card and it only read 30mb. How come the memory card is using 25 mb if it's empty? Anyone knows how to sort this out?

e 398 has voice recording just go to msgs and then write msgs then multymedia msgs and then insert simple then save the msg to draft

i think there is a possibility. But u have to buy a SD card reader. usaully it comes with driver for win98, Don't buy if it doesn't come with driver.
Now take out ur trans memory and insert it on sd card adapter then insert it to Card reader.
plug in the card reader to pc . when pc asks for new hardware driver insert the driver cd and install . after the driver is successfully installed, open my computer now u will see removal drive with new drive letter. Open the audio folder and paste all the mp3 u desire.

Anyone have a problem hearing on this phone??? I got mine in the mail Friday and cannot hear anything on it. The earpiece volume is all the way up to 7 and still barely hear anything at all...any help PLEASE!!!!!!!

I can't download MP3 songs to my phone, cause I'm using Window 98(SE), can someone pls help, is there a way, motorola said NO, only Windows 2000, XP, Millenium YES, what about us having only Win 98.

Anybody realise the one way to MIWORLD button on the left side, that button really irritating, once you press that button, they will charge you according to the bytes you transfer, even though u exit immediatly, can actually go down to Moto Service Centre to delete that function. Very Troublesome. I brought this phone after reading all the reviews, the phone is average, not 100% good, battery only last abt max 2 - 3 Days, I think NOKIA battery is better. I should have brought 0$ Phone, instead of this, because the sound quality is not that good compare to the MP3 Player.
I brought this at $68.00 SIN$, MP3 player can get a good one less than $100 with radio. Anyway, this phone is average.

can u please please give me the links for a firmware update of this phone that makes the sms speed faster n all that? i know some of u guys had posted it here but they were all scattered everywhere. if any one u can give me all the links in one posting ( or is there only one link anyway?), i would really appreciate it.

To Jordan,
Use P2KTools to install skins, theme, etc.
There is some tools in motomodders.net : P2Kmanager, that specially use to install new skin to E398.
And find some users manual in that site too.
