Don't let reviewers turn you away from this phone. The screen is top notch, big bright and smooth. Phone is amazingly light weight making extended use a joy. Battery life is really good with fast charging. The chip in here is really fast and doesn't heat up like my pixel 6a. The phone weight, screen and battery life is my favorite. Motorola software has improved greatly, it's basically vanilla android. I don't use my fold 3, Pixel 6A, or iPhone 13 Pro anymore. Only bad is really the waterproof, my other phones I wouldn't care if it got wet but the Motorola I have to be more careful.

Anonymous, 01 Oct 2022I bet this brand might be disappearing in 2 yearsThat seems unlikely. Motorola is the longest standing cell phone brand in existence, and they have a pretty good reputation for budget and mid-ranged.

Is there a phone link app other than for Samsung Galaxy phones but one for the Motorola Edge 2022?

GameTesterDev, 26 Oct 2022This phone is more on the level of the Snapdragon 865... It... moreAfter going to the edge 22 from an XT2061-01 (VZW locked 2020 edge+, which has an 865) I can say that both have good smooth experiences but in terms of overall SOC performance there's a lot of difference between these two. To give you an idea, on 3dmark's sling shot test, the 865 gets 71FPS vs the dimensity 1050's 35fps on test 1, and the physics CPU tests were 83 vs 66fps.

For what it's worth though I like both phones but VZW gave us such an awful experience for how much we were paying that I didn't mind the downgrade, I don't do a lot of gaming or high performance applications on my phone anyways. Tmobile gave me the phone for free with our plan and I get 700mbit download speeds with full signal 5G UC. On the edge+ I never got more than 100-200mbit on full signal "5g" which I'm pretty sure was just rebranded LTE.

Last but not least, I'm not sure what's specifically up with my model because I have a 128GB ROM but 8GB of RAM. Oh well.

GameTesterDev, 26 Oct 2022256gb of Internal storage and you need MicroSD? What?? LOLWhy not? Many people need at least 512gb if they are media creators. Also, once internal storage failed, all the data can be lost.
