The UI of this phone is not as good as samsung S20FE 5G which i used earlier. In fact, very few, may be 20, wallpaper and themes and font choices available,
And phone lags while capturing photo.

My voice isn't clear to reciever. And while using video calling. I have to use earpiece always instead of handsfeee. Someone said that this can be due to noise cancellation feature in edge 40. And that this won't be rectified. Has anyone here been gone through same issue?

I am located in Bucharest, Romania and I did not get the OS updates until I removed the SIM card and retried.

Hello guys , does this phone support combination of x2 nano-sim cards instead of one nano+esim combo , can anyone confirm this?
Also , what is the pwm of this phone (in hertz) , do you have any symptoms using this one?

No 4g CALLING, 17 Aug 2024Phone does not support VoLTE which is a big disappointment.Not true. The phone supports VoLTE and VoWiFi. I'm using it right now on T-Mobile's network.
The problem is probably with your network,SIM card or the specific phone that you own.

The problem is that it does not have the New Modern Style Control Center like the Edge 50 series, if it is not solved by an update I will no longer buy or recommend Motorola to anyone...unfortunately 😟😢 I'm waiting for a fix..

I shut down the phone, removed the SIM card, restarted the phone and checked for updates. It found a January 2024 patch.

GodFather, 11 Jun 2024Mine Moto Edge 40 already got Android 14 and this phone is ... moreBroo Im using edge 40 ..the battery is the worst bro..I barely get 4 hours of screen on time, my OnePlus 6 from 2018 still provided a better battery life in 2023 with only 3300mAh something and the UI? Hell nahh man...every aspect of Pixel UI is better than this crappy Clean UI.. I use a 7 pro as my main driver ..it's just smooth man.....

The Edge 40 is a little beast in the midrange class phone!
144Hz Beautiful Edge display 6.5" P-Oled HDR 10+ the processor it's very good maybe not at most Secure Like Qualcomm 7 gen X but it's enough to powerful with 4 Core A78 up to 2.6Ghz! GPU Mali G77 MP9, Fast Charging 68W charger including in the box . Clean Android Stock 14 very smooth! Aluminum frame , IP68 protection,Hi quality Stereo Sound with Dolby Atmos, very light ,compact and Slim only 7.6mm thickness .Superb Format 20:9 ! Very easy to manage with one hand !

Pen4o, 26 Jul 2024Using Lenovo's tool, called RSA, you could update your... moreYes I don't know what it's happening with Moto Update Software because I buy for a family member a New Edge 40 with a special price and it's stop Update with security patch 1 November 2023 Android 13! I need to get RSA and flashing the Device with last update Software and worked.
Now have Android 14 with last security Patch 1 July!
I don't understand why not working OTA Update
