Yes ! The Android 15 beta for the Motorola Edge 40 comes with build version V1TL35.73-21. It weighs 3.04GB, so make sure to download it over Wi-Fi. Additionally, this update includes the April 2025 Android security patch level.
Talking about new features and changes, the Edge 40 gets a new Hello UI design with the update. Hello UI was released last year, but it wasn’t made available on Edge 40 until now. The new UI has a clean and modern look and offers a bunch of customization features, modern control center, new fonts, app cloning, and more.

edi, 27 Mar 2025the screen is very fragile and the phone overheats very easily That hasn't been my experience. My screen doesn't have a single scratch on it, having now owned the phone for just over a year. I've never used a screen protector either, as they don't work well with these curved screens. Equally, the only time the phone gets even slightly warm is during wireless charging. It's absolutely nothing compared to how hot my Galaxy S8 used to get.

Is the NEG screen protector that has got the cracks or is it the display?
Anyone has authentic information if the phone comes with the so called NEG screen protector by default or not?

Good News for User of Edge 40 and Edge 40 Neo! I understand the Edge 40 will received Android 15 with New Hello UI Interface Software and it's possible to get a extra extended Life exactly like another phone example G54 . This budget product received Second Major Update to Android 15 and totally 4 years of security update from date with lance ! I think it's Time to this beautiful Phone to received more Updates Software and it's not excluded to receive Android 16! Anyway very soon end of April - May will bring a new Edge 60 Series! Very beautiful design phone!

Only one icon getting clic... moreNo absolutely Nothing and my Edge 40 It fell out of my pocket from 2 times but it had a soft silicon cover with protection and super strong film protector from display ! 0 damage and the phone function perfectly! Absolutely nothing not even a scratch!
