This cell is a good but unable to compete with other similar phones due to following:
1. Lack of well-versed OS (Operating System) like symbian or Samsung's OS.This cell has purely Chineese OS
2. Lack of Privacy Lock feature which is present in almost all Samsung phones.
3. Camera quality is not good as its claimed. It seems that Motorola doesn't know that wt does 3.2 Mega Pixel means. If it is 3.2MP than Motorola would say Nokia's 2 MP as 10 MP camera.

After encountering the issue on the contacts, I returned to the store to complain. The store recommended to upgrade the firmware in their service center. So I gave them the unit and received it the next day. The issue on the contacts is now resolve - i can see the name of the sms sender and caller regardless of how i save my contacts in the phonebook.

I also experienced the problem with the contacts. For example I have Bogart as my contact. when Bogart calls me I see his name. But when he texts me, I only see his number. This is what I did to solve the problem.
1. I saved his number +63932XXXXXXX in the simcard.
2. Again I saved his number 0932XXXXXXX but this time in the phone memory.
3. At "Phonebook Settings", set "Preferred Storage" to "All" (so that I use both simcard and phone memory as my phonebook contacts).
Now I can see Bogart's name when he calls or texts

Hi all,
I have been using MOTOROLA EX115 for several months. I had same question like all here. But now I'm able to connect it to PC. And PC to net with my GPRS connection.
There are two ways of connecting phone with PC.
1 get a cable and connect it (cable was not supplied with the product i had to buy it separately from the market. that i feel was very conservative approach of Motorola)
2 the another way to connect your phone is through Blue tooth. Switch on blue tooth on your phone and PC/Laptop. and you will get all the access to phone.
Well, simple thumb-rule is any phone is a modem. Modem is nothing but a dialer. If you are able to connect a call from your mobile, you can connect to net as well. Provided the connection ports are given i the device. Your Motorola EX115 has USB as well as blue-tooth connection. Use blue-tooth for NET connectivity.
To do this go to settings in your phone
select phone settings
open UART settings (UART is abbrevation for Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter). select the sim on which your GPRS is available.
You are almost done...
now open blue tooth set up on your PC/Laptop and set up desired modem settings, especially comport (in-out) should be on (these settings may vary according to operating systems but not at all difficult to do it yourself).
After you set up blue-tooth in Phone and Comp, connect it from 'internet access' icon of windows. Press CONNECT and start surfing/uploading/downloading.
These settings can be done for any blue tooth phone. Usually Duel sim phone providers do not guide people properly about the basics of the phone to their buyers so they face these troubles.
Motorola Ex 115 is really a nice phone for 2G use. Only problem is the manufacturer's conservative behavior for their own really good device. They have taken users for granted for these two models.
But now you have solution... so enjoy!
