Can this phone be used to browse internet by plugging it to a PC?
If yes,do they provide any phone tools cd?
I cant see this model listed on official motorola support website?

AnonD-881, 06 Feb 2011plz answer my query's 1.howz the GPRS/Edge compared to sam... moreif u r thinking about samsung chat let me tell u thers no edge only GPRS in it.it has many restrictions regarding the third party apps.u cant installed apps sized over 300kb.it has frquent restart problem.i replaced my chat322 because of that.now i have nokia X2-01 and moto ex115...both are equally good phones.if dual sim is the only option for u then go for moto ex115 or for sinle sim nokia X2-01 is way better in its price range.

PLEASE PLEASE, CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME WHY CAN'T I RECEIVE OR SEND PICTURE MESSAGES???? the error message I'm getting is "COMM connection on SIM1"...I have that option on my plan (unlimited txt and picture messaging), I called my provider to see if there's any problem with network or so, they even sent me some settings through my e-mail but I don't know how to put it in the phone....here is what they e-mailed me:

one thing i don't like about the phone:when your are talking on one line the other is closed.good phone overall, talk time ok.

I browse the net almost 24x7.
Whenever I'm not on my pc(i.e. when I'm outside),
I browse the net using my phone.
And I'm hooked to facebook all the time.
For reliable info,I prefer wikipedia.
I've installed g-talk on my EX115 & hence,I can now chat with my gmail friends even on the go.

Ans)2:-No
Ans)3:-That I haven't tried(since I have a broadband connection)
Ans)4:-Neither my phone, nor my friends(using this phone) has restarted on their own.
& Finally,compared to ch@t322, I prefer EX115
Can't tell about nokia X201 (since I haven't used it)

But then, after 1 month search, I finally got it & bought 2 of them. One for me & another for my uncle.
Well, if unavailability is the only problem disturbing you,
You should search harder.
Another thing I want to add regarding somebody's comment saying that there is problem sms-ing:-
What I noticed-
while sending sms,when a sms is being sent,
DO NOT TRY any sms related things.
Specially when sending sms to multiple recipients,
as soon as the sms is delivered to the first recipient,the 'Sending' pop-up disappears BUT the sending continues to the rest of recipients.So you are allowed to do any sms related work only after the sms is sent to all the recipients.Else, if you try to type another sms while the previous sms is being send,
a pop-up 'Not Allowed', appears & keeps on appearing whenever you try to sms afterwards(since a former task was interrupted).
Solution: Restart the phone.

and Finally did u consider Samsung C322 and Nokia X201 or not?howz it compared to them?

really nice phone, basic dual sim model. battery backup seem to be ok, it's light, maybe a little big. happy with it

Actually, it is a chinese make usb cable make but Motorola is supplying them. You may ask Motorola authorized service centre for ordering such a cable. My cable works beautifully.

For me, I just want a dual sim qwerty phone and that's it. The other good things are bonuses. I think ex115 is for those who want a basic phone. I love the sturdy built of it.

darn!!! this phone is not available in UP East,no mobile store is selling any motorola phone thanx to unavailability.Searched whole Allahabad and Varanasi :(.
Again now I have two options: Either to buy Samsung C322(which I hate to do so,poor me) or buy Nokia X-201(vga camera with no Dual sim) or to order this phone via Internet.
After reading the comments,I found that everyone needed a firmware upgrade,since there are no Motorola service centers down here Will it be wise buying it?
Plz reply DMX ,Helplock anybody and everybody?
I fell for EX115 features and looks and badly wanted this phone but now I m disappointed and confused :(

Hi i am having the same problem with contact & messaging thing. Name not displayed when receiving the message. How do we fix that n also can someone please tell me where to update the firmware/software for this phone? Thanks in advance!!!
