      So to continue

Battery life not the best, but indeed good. Lasts throughout the day, and with fast charging it's great. With Airplane mode battery charging even faster.my charging habits have changed due to this.

Display: not the best, but still great. I feel it does it's job perfectly well. Adaptive brightness setting has some problems. But anyways I never use it and keep brightness low to save battery.
Tried phone in VR. It was very good, does the job for me. Watched movies in VR. Screen door effect is present, but never bothers the experience.

I have 4gb 32 gb variant. But 3 GB Ram actually is sufficient. Since I saw the Ram usage. It has never crossed 2.1 gb. With my kind of usage of 1hour Asphalt , browsing web, YouTube, moderate social networking, camera daily 5-10 pics,1-2 videos editing sometimes on Lightroom ......I feel it's really good. if on a cash crunch u can definitely buy 3 GB variant. But still I have got 4 gb.

Camera is excellent for the price. Outdoor pics are great. Low light, due to lack of OIS a bit blurry. But if u maintain a steady hand it does the job. Camera has got good hardware, software can be better for post processing. May be an update can solve this.but it's not guaranteed.

Fingerprint scanner is just awesome. One button navigation too is great. Sometimes I felt it annoying as swiping left went back to home instead of going back. But that may be my error in swip

      Verdict
Overall the phone doesn't Excel at any particular thing. But still is a great all rounder. I am really happy with my Moto g5 plus

I was thinking of buying OnePlus 3t. I feel that's definitely better phone than Moto g5 plus. But then it comes to pricing. I saved money to buy a laptop.

Build quality: though plastic frame metal back, feels good to hold. Looks are not that great due to bezels.but it's good if not the best
Processor and battery life: very good. It's not the fastest. But in the price bracket it's awesome. Frankly , u won't feel anything slow in day to day use. I play Asphalt for approx 1 hour, browse web ... 20-22 tabs open, watch YouTube videos, moderate WhatsApp FB Instagram user. Never has the phone hung or showed signs of slowing down.

Qualcomm sd625 indeed battery efficient and fast. Battery life is again not the bwst, but

Anonymous, 24 Apr 2017Supported but disabledLED notification supported but it's only for dead battery situations. Other option root phone, but it voids warranty. Personally I would have liked notification light. But I don't miss it. So it's not a deal breaker for me.

But I have been checking memory usage it never goes beyond 2.1 GB. Just to give an idea of my usage: I play Asphalt for approx 1 hour, browse a lotttt.... Around 20-22 tabs open, YouTube always on, WhatsApp moderate user, little less Facebook and Instagram.
Ram management is mildly aggressive, but nothing worrisome.
I don't use any ram clearing apps or cache clearing apps.
Moto g5 plus is like a sweet spot which tries giving everything. It's like a Jack of all trades. It doesn't Excel at any particular thing.

Sridhar, 23 Apr 2017What about g5+ front camera?front camera is fine 5mp with f/2.2, A genuine user hardly uses front camera, may be one or 2 times in month. Really superb is turbo charging and long life battery. The processor is made with 14nm lithography, hence low power consumption

No doubt in performance of this phone, in my opinion it is extremely hard to find a mobile which is better in this price range, moreover the google launcher is superfast. everyone must know that google engineers are better than oppo, vivo samsung or Xiaomi

AnonD-663909, 23 Apr 2017I can confirm RAM management to be normal for a 4GB Android... moreSadly the only option here in the UK is a 3GB version. There is no 4GB version. So this means memory management will take a hit. And I don't think the problem is Android on the Moto G5 Plus. It is how the software is optimised on the phone. A Galaxy S7 also has Android Nougat but memory management seems excellent with apps not having to reload.
