I like this phone so far, for all the obvious reasons (snappy proper Android, battery life, etc). Two gripes for me - the lack of 5G wifi is not good at all and not something you'd expect or accept from a new phone in 2019, and also I get a lot of drain with the screen off, which kind of undercuts the battery life. Other than that, good. It's a Motorola though so it'll probably break tomorrow.

Suggestion?If batery life and stock android is must go for the motorola. Moto actions is a nice detail.
The redmi note 7 is superior but i don´t like MIUI neither heavy customized interface.

I tried adjusting the APN according to my operator specifications for mobile data but still it doesn't work. So when change to other sim card it works well (so it's not the phone problem). Then i called my operator help line and they asked to upgrade the sim and after few hrs it works fine and my mobile data is connected.

what a crazy battery life!!!!! im tired of killing the battery... the display is good but not great because it has only 720p... but its ok of me,

Crazy battery life. Not quite 3 full days, but 2 days easy. I don't need wireless charging, I don't need NFC, I don't need to look at my phone and have it "type the words I am thinking before I can speak them" - patent applied for 7/27/19. I do need a solid cost effective phone with a good screen and a battery that lasts. 20 full hours of screen on time during full bore usage is nothing for this phone. It reminds me of the days when flip phones would last for ever, and it would surprise you when I was out of battery life. The camera is a let down and the phone is heavy...for a phone. I say its just a tad heavier than the note5. Given the choice I can spend 1500 on a telephone that will depreciate 75% value in 3-4 years or I can spend the same amount and get a more than capable phone for peanuts. If you are a hardcore telephone gamer buy this and get a switch for better experiences over the 1k+ telephone. If you want to game exclusively on a phone or show a shiny logo to your friends I think you will be disappointed with this; get the 1500 dollar offering from singsong or ample.

I bought this phone recently, an international version. I love my Moto phones, but this one has a real problem connecting to my data. I have called Motorola, fixed settings as they suggested, went to At&t had them try to fix it, but still i barely get any bars and it often says that i am offline. I was wondering if anyone else has this issue. I see many complaints on the internet and Motrorola doesn't acknowledge it as a problem. I hate to return it, but i need to be able to connect to data when out of WIFI range.

If you're a Freedom Mobile customer in Canada, I strongly advise you to buy an unlocked phone on Amazon, rather than getting one with their plan. It has more internal space and it's slightly cheaper over 2 years.

I got one (64/4) off Amazon (Canada) a few days ago and I haven't charged it for 3 days, it's still showing 70% charged !! My wife asked "how can something so good be so cheap?" Can't go wrong with Motorola :)

The 720 screen is every bit as good as a 1080 screen. My Motorola g7 power came with NFC. The phone is very fast, taking night shots and day shots, the camera is good. The battery is one of the best points of this phone, I can go for 3 days on one charge. I would recommend this phone.
