A month after warranty expired, phone went crazy. The screen would behave as if it was being touched when it wasn't. This was not your average 'ghost touch' problem. The phone was full on psycho. If I had email open it would go into random people and block them, if web was open it would start navigating around opening new pages, going into menus on those pages and selecting options, if phone function was open (and once when not) it would call people (embarrassing). Up until it had it's 'nervous breakdown' the phone was great. I followed all advice I found via Googling inc. doing a factory reset which fixed the issue for about a week, then it started glitching again. I will probably never buy a Motorola again, as I am too scared it will happen again. Have now replaced phone with a Samsung Galaxy S5, so fingers crossed...!

My Moto G3 just got updated with the Oct month security patch. There were two updates, first one was till July security and second one was till the month of Oct. Hope to see further updates for the latest Android N.

A babu, 24 Nov 2016can i change the battery as its draining fast, what is cost... moreCheck the network you are one my battery also started draining fast recently I am using Airtel and Vodafone. You probably need to check which SIM is causing battery to drain. In my case it all started when I started using voda in second slot earlier it was empty.

My moto g3 (dual sim) is not getting LTE signal at all. I am getting the signal in other LTE phones. Tried everything - setting network mode to LTE, software update to latest version, factory reset, remove 2nd sim from 2nd slot. APN settings are ok. Nothing works. Anyone facing similar issues? This phone sucks.

Previously, I was using airtel sim in slot 1 for data service & vodafone sim in slot 2 for voice/msg service. It was working fine.
Recently, I tried jio in slot 1. Surprisingly, I am finding that jio is not working with any sim in slot 2 but working fine without any sim in slot 2.
Even, the earlier airtel sim was also not working now in dual sim condition. It was working only in single sim condition.
What to do??

A babu, 24 Nov 2016can i change the battery as its draining fast, what is cost... moreYes you can change the battery at Lenovo Moto service centre but the cost of a new battery will be 4,000 Rs plus taxes and service charge since batteries have a six month manufacturers warranty. If it is below 6 months the manufacturer has to do it free of charge.
If it's crossed the six month time line I would suggest you sell the phone and go in for an lg device
