Well its a complete set in itself except 3G
feature. My suggestion is that if possible battery should be of 1400 mAh and another thing which I have been waiting is that motorolla manufacturer should give scracthproof body as well as glass this will add good value to the phone n attract more market.

Why does everyone keep bagging this handset?
Who cares if its following in the razr tradition? And nokia keeps pumping out candybar phones, whats the difference? None. As long as it
A.Looks Good
B.Performs
C.Has reasonable reliability
Look at the K1 or V6, i sell them and they never come back for repair. The V3 had its problems, but hey it was revolutionary for its time. And there have been plenty of copycat designs, look at Z510 Samsung, or NEC 412i, even the LGU830. They all follow razr look. And why? because it sells. Im not Moto Biast, i have owned Nokia, Sony Ericsson,Samsung etc. And they are all ok. i think if Moto can nail the reliability with this new phone as good as the K1 or V6 it will be a good phone.

People, I am really sorry about my lame comments and i will take them back, Motorola is a good company, with a good phone, but i will stop attacking other peoples comments because i am 12 years old. I own a Samsung E410, and I love the phone so much because it will probably be the only phone I'll ever have.
Good day

Respond to moto employee....to be fair to moto ceo, ed zander have tried to grow the business. During the good run of motorola's stock, motorola acquired and invested in many companies. It made a huge investment in clearwire, it bought over symbol, it invested heavily in wimax and now has a very broad portfolio of products. its a leader in terms of wimax trials right now. it like planting a tree, it takes time for it to grow and bear fruit.
in my opinion motorola phones are really more exciting than nokia and others, where they have consistently lead in design new form factors of mobile phone. the notables one are the first flip phone, startac, the first twister phone, v70, the first ultra thin phone and now rizr z8 the first kick slider.
there's alot of innovation in the company, but just that they need to make decisions faster.

People... Please Get Lives... As we all live, we learn. Nobody has the time or effort to "intricately" correct themselves for every mistake they present unto the public... Besides, I obtained that information from the motorola site, so until the actual device is released, specs are "Unconfirmed."
Thank you people...

my friend in Motorola told me that ever since ed zander took over Motorola, the company is in a decline ever since. Remember that when he took over, Razr is not his idea, it was the idea of the previous management team. And now this donkey CEO keep on riding on the tailend of the Razr blaze not wanting to let go or think of another roadmap to pursuit. The morale in Motorola is at an all-time low. While Motorola is retrenching 4000 employees, Samsung on the other hand is employing 4000 R&D engineers to improve their product lineup. That speaks alot about the company commitment to push the company to upsurge Motorola within 1-2years. And to all Motorola fans, figures don't lie. Nokia outsold Motorola hp by 2 to 1. And with a slew of appealing hps launched by Samsung, SE and to a lesser extend, LG, Motorola is really in for a hard time right up to the X'mas period. Consumers are not stupid. They know a good hp when they see one. Motorola keep hoping for miracle to happen again when the management themselves don't overhaul the way they develop new hp, it won't be surprising they will go the dinosaurs way too. By the Motorola load the already-in-the-markets features into their hps, consumers would have already bought a hp from their rivals. Quite honestly, working in Motorola design department is the best job you can get in the world. You just make minimal alteration from the previous models and viola, you got yourself a new hp! And it pays well too! If Motorola hps are so damn good, why are they retrenching? why are they losing money? why are they losing market shares? Motorola fans, pls wake up to the reality, Motorola is a walking zombie which lacks the courage or innovation to think of something revolutionary now. They are living in their own universe without a care of what the market really wants and needs. You don't see them having any breakthru or leading the technology race in hp making ever since the Razr first came out. I dare say the China hps makers are much much better in coming out innovative hps with leading-edge features, it jus so happen that there is a stigma in "Made-in-China" brands which prevent them for appealing to the mass market. Motorola and ed Zander, are you in or are you out of the competition? Please put up a good fight and fight well!

" ALSO, with only this V8 version, theres 512MB of "Shared Memory" in BOTH the 2GB version & the 420MB version. What GSMARENA has failed to mention is that 2GB & 420MBs are "ADDITIONAL End-User" storage capacities. So in actuality, theres a V8 version with 932MBs & another V8 version with 2GBs+512MBs. "
haha, dun be stupid. its really 512MB and 2GB. how i know? someone who worked in Motorola told me. :D
