i work in the mobile phone industry and therefore deal with customers every day who want this phone. I dont know why!! it is an absolute rip off, admittedly it looks nice, but the memory is stupidly small, the camera should at least be 1 MP for the price and the data speed is slow. If these things were picked up on by moto then i could see why it retails sim free at £400.00 but at the mo i can say this phone really is terrible value for money

    Hi guys,
This question is to someone who owns a v3. I got my first phone 3 years ago and now thinking of getting the v3. I pick up things very quickly like using a phone. My question is, is it easy or hard to use or to find things on the v3? Thanks stef

I have a v3, and the only thing i can fault is the charge. battery only lasts 2 - 3 days.
The v3 is great, to put in your pocket, the s700i is too chunky and the d500, is a tacky black. I have to agree, fingerprints are abit annoying but, the camera and screen are great quality. I use to own a nokia 7610, but they was just too big and bulky. The new black v3 is very nice, but again, it dosent feel as nice as the silver one. Bluetooth is abit poor, but i think this phone leads the way with style, which the d500 and s700i lack.
Just another thing to mention, i have been out every friday and saturday, and many a times i have dropped the phone, and its still going strong.
so dont think, it will break easily coz it is really strong.
thanks moto, i would deffinatly buy another one.

              Hi Guys

Tell me, which is better, the v3 or v620? I need a quick and educated answer, am buying the phones in 24 hours. What version software comes with the v3. I have ver. 3. Will this work with the v620.

              Thanx

This phone seems to have been designed for a purest, like Mercedes Benz, there are lots of cars with more features ,but less quality engineering . The size is great if you are a man , I can actually navigate the keys, also,if I want to take pictures I use my Nikon, web browse? how about a computer...people this is a cell phone .As for my experiance with the V3, works great call the office and my wife at least 5 times a day.....you can't tell me a company like Motorola with a long history in communications would produce anything less than Quality.......

I just got a v3 today, so far its treating me pretty nicely... I had a P800 b4 this, and this does pretty much everything the P800 did. I have a question though, whats the difference between this and the new RH..blah blah V3? its on the motorola website, would be nice to have a review on that one... or if someone could just tell us if its the same phone or not...

I am on my 5th Motorola V3 in 5 months. These things are absolute junk if you want to use a bluetooth headset. No matter what headset I use, Motorola, Jabra, etc. the V3 works for about 2 minutes then says "Weak Bluetooth signal, use handset?". You then loose the bluetooth connection. The only time the thing will stay connected is if the handset is no more than about 4" away. Literally 4" away is all it works!!! Buying this phone was the worst mistake I've ever made in buying any cell phone since I've been using them. I've used cell phones for work since 1988. This phone is the worst I've ever had and Motorola can't fix them. I rate this phone a flat zero. Bluetooth doesn't work, signal connection is poor, and the camera quality is extremely poor for a phone that costs this amount of money. If this is the best Motorola can do, they need to get out of the business!!!

This is my dream phone. I love the gigantic screen, the amazing internal LCD and Bluetooth. I’ve had it for 2 months now, and at first I thought it might be too wide to carry, but the slim design made it an easy fit for my pocket. It takes really good pictures and the speakerphone sounds great. The only problems are that fingerprints show up really easy, the external LCD is a tad small, and the price of course is EXCESSIVE. If I wasn’t able to get it for $40, I wouldn’t have been able to get this great phone. If you want to find out how you can get it for $40 as well, just email me at chinolany@hotmail.com.

Im thinking about buying a V3, however, I have a few questions..

On the outside can you set different wallpapers?

Can you take pictures with the phone closed?

                                    and is the camera good?

Hmmm... I am thinking of getting a V3 this few weeks, and I saw a lot of this disvantage about the phone. Do you all think I should get one? The phone memory is fine with mi and the phonebook search is fine with mi too... Is there any other "BIG" problem about the phone? Pls comment.. Thanks...
