I bought the V3 on the understanding that it would sync effectively with Outlook, but it does not. The third party software is clunky and won't handle certain types of appointments, so if sync with outlook is important to you try another phone.

The Motorola Razar V3 is very slow in processing, No functions in compare to other cellular. A very low memory, screen very big only with slim in size.

I just got the Black RAZR V3, and I'm pretty happy with it, but not thrilled.
Some things to take note of:
                          1) The keypad seems fickle, like its going to break if pushed too hard or too often.
                          2) There is a lot of delay, and I've only had this phone two days.
                          3) Make sure you set the brightness to the max on both the picture setting and the screen setting -- otherwise, screen looks dull.

I am happy with the design and portability of this handset, as well as the basic functions/options available.
Another thing, opt for TMobile in the states. Cingular has abysmal customer service and setup. Thanks.

                            Oh wait, I forgot:

                            1) DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PHONE IN THE SUN. The metal gets so hot you will burn your fingers.

                            2) The screen rocks. Bright, very high resolution.....

A few pros. A few cons.

                              Con's first.

                              1) Battery indicates full charge even when it's not. You'll be at full charge then all of a sudden, BLAM, you are nearly drained.

                              2) In sunlight, screen is unreadable.

                              3) Keypad is fragile. Owned this thing for only 45 days and am sending back to Motorola (under warrenty) for keypad repair. DO NOT HAVE ANY LIQUID WHATSOEVER ON YOUR FINGERS WHEN DIALING, not even a bit of sweat.

                              Pros:

                              1) Sleek. Slim. Very forgettable in your pocket.

                              2) Extremely intuitive -- operated all aspects of the phone without ever using the manual, except one time when I was a little stumped.

                              3) Very good signal pickup. Never drops, not in elevators, not anywhere. Never had a dropped call, not once.

                                Has V# an E-mail client?

Got my V3 on contract from Orange as an annual upgrade about a week ago after being a longtime devotee of Nokia. So far no problems and I have to admit it's about the nicest looking phone I've ever owned.
Nevertheless, I'm stunned at the clown who designed the navigation of the phone book! I've only got maybe 100 numbers in it and because you can only search on the first letter it's miserable to use, God help anyone with the maximum 2000 numbers stored! Someone should be fired for this, what kind of focus groups were they using, dummies? It's also shocking to see that's there's no interchangeable storage/memory card implemented on the product... WHAT!!!??? Yes it's true. It therefore represents a technological dead end before it's even sold off the shelf in the store! After all this it still tries to pretend to be a useful Multimedia phone, but by definition it's clearly not.
All in all a nice looking phone, but with 2 glaring ommissions. The "kids" will be frustrated by a lack of storage versatility and ability, the grown up's like me will cry when using it's un-navigable phone book, and the more numbers you store the more painful it gets. It's undoubtedly pretty but the Yanks still need to get some industrial design lessons from the Finns! Oh yeah... And Nokia can do "pretty" too. I'll bet anyone £5 that these features are already implemented on the V3 MarkII somewhere in the bowels of Motorola. That's great, but then that's marketing for you I guess. I reckon the V3 was rushed.
As for people moaning about "Made in China"... Wake up folks, about half of everything in your life is already made by them, even if it's only in the components, that doesn't make the V3 bad, or in the case of "Middle America" ... unpatriotic.

i have a unlocked razr, and i was wondering if there is anyway i can delete some of the sound files and the video file that was in the razr when i got it. there's a lock icon on those files, so is there anyway i can delete these?
