Having owned this phone for about 6 months now, I can say that it is exactly what I expect from Motorola: A semi working MP3 player and camera with limited phone abilities. My meaning is that while texting, music, video, and sound are spectacular, the microphone to actually carry out a conversation is off and on, and the phone consistently freezes up and must have its battery removed to turn off. This is the 2nd motorola phone I've had, and it will certainly be the last.

For the person who asked about the E2 vs the Z3. Having owned both belief me the Z3 is not even in the same league as the E2.

For all that are trying to compare the speaker sound to E398/E2 don't even try mono vs stereo, there is no comparison.

As for everything else E398/E1 can't touch the E2. Easier to mod, most of it is drag n drop files. You can edit most files on the spot. If u wanted to you could even make a 3x20 menu.

Want to learn more head over to freemod.net forums.

to wacko, I bought my E2 in HK. The package px included a big Motorola blue tooth headset. It is wireless. It can control many functions. The headset have buttons to contorl the volumn, track control, back and forward. The headset can even answer the phone!!! The headset is not heavy and 1 full charge can use up to 13 to 15 hours. The sound quality is very good. I did not use my headset all the time. If you or anyone want my headset, please offer me a px.
Please go to the link to learn more about the headset. http://direct.motorola.com/ens/BTStereoHS_Web_ProductHome.asp?country=USA&language=ENS

compatible with the bluetooth headset? does it mean that the mp3s that i play in the rockr e2 will be heard in the bluetooth headset? i would to ask for some feedbacks with the bluetooth headset of motorola? how does the bluetooth headset function? does it serves as a wireless headset?

I don't think E2 can use 4G card. I am currently using 1G card. I have tried to use 2G card but not very stable. The phone sometimes hang.

Thanks for replying momo king..what a pity! I've got about 200 ringtones that I love to put on any phone I use..this way I'll only be able to use very few of them :( [only 10 MB internal memory]
Anyway, did u guys see this test? It's a comparison between ROKR E2, nokia 3250 and several walkman models to see which of them has the best music performance...I'm sure all E2 owners will be delighted! :)

to ^0^, The battery of this phone cannot last for long if you listen to MP3 song quite often. If you listen to MP3 around 2 hours and talk on the phone for 2 hours per day, then for sure you need to charge the battery everyday or need a spare battery.

to Demirell, you need to move the mp3 file to your phone memory in order to use the file as ringtone. You can use the software that come with the phone to modify the length of the file so that it will not take up a lot of space in your phone memory. The software is quite easy to use. Just try is and you will know how to operate.
