Does anyone know if we could use an mp3 file saved on the memory card as a ringtone? or do we have to move it to the phone's built-in memory first?

If I were u, I would wait for the z6 instead, it is basically the e2 and z3 combined, only faster.

about me i did not try your Z3 and i think that i wont...just choose compare in the left side of this page and try rokr e2 vs z3 and see features performance and most important thing is users opinions..thanks

to Martin, while you are in camera mode, go to "options", then "flash, then you can choose from 1) auot flash, 2) always on and 3) always off.

I bought this phone on Aug, 2006 to replace my E1. I like this phone very much. It has all the function that a phone need to have. The manual is simple and easy to follow. The music buttons is easy to access. The sound quality is excellent. The best thing about phone is that I can use any 3.5mm headphone with this phone. No need to use any convertor. Other brands are still using non-standard headphone jet. Mr. SE and Mr. N are now trying to follow Motorola. If you are music lovers, it it wise to follow the pioneer but not the followers.

K, thanks for your advice, it was REALLY helpful! I actually contacted a Univeristy of China grad - PhD in Telecommunications, but works at Gateway Tim Horton's - and she told me that I need to install a "Bo Ka Cheeee" in order to allow the 4Gb card to be read! Since then it's all "Hi-5's" and the phone is working sooo cute!

this phone is great, good mp4 (hehe some entertainment between and in university xD) and excellent mp3, playlist are goods and the good is the jak 3.5mm (u dont need special headset or that kind of stuff), also the key block stick is very confortable.
lol for comercialize if its like u say i dunno how i can get mine here xD (im in argentina, in the left part of the world ass >.

Koz, no u cannot expand it to 4 gb but there is a way...there is an adapter called "Le Ha Ma" that u can order from China (that is the only place I saw it so far) and with that, u can use up to 4 gb...hope it helps...cheers

This is a great phone, I'm so sad that Motorola didn't introduce this phone everywhere, 'cause this phone rocks, a great display better than Samsumg the linux based OS is great, and the music, what I can say wonderful, this phone is a revolution for Motorola, but they didn't comercialize it as they should do-

if you like photo-taking and listening to music(BUT not the same quality) take z3

I've just purchased and E2 ROKR and want to maximize the SD Memory card to a 4Gb, however, I don't know if the phone will recognize it! Does anyone know anything about this?
